Clear zep round. Dalton looked like he was downloading but I don’t know if he is good enough or whacks hard enough for that approach, as a non puncher stepping up you should not be giving away rounds…

Don't think I've ever seen a boxer so chilled in the corner.
Only time I've seen a cooler customer was when Howard Eastman got his leg tangled in the rope in the last round against William Joppy.

I'm visiting mother tomorrow, stealing will happen.gregregegg wrote: ↑23 Mar 2024, 18:43 Back at the parents house for the weekend and mum had the tv so I have been watching this on my cracked to shit phone…. She’s just taken the dog for a walk and now it’s on 60inch tv crisssspy as it gets… I don’t even care about this fight very much but suddenly I’m fired up, it’s like I’m at the cinema…

my predictions are predictably shit. Least I am consistent.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑23 Mar 2024, 18:41 Zep is 35 in 2 months, he's been fed to Smith at right time. There will be no surprises here.

How would Adam Azim with his unusually long head be getting on now?

Fair play he came from behind with that one.
Delayed reaction to a body shot from Zep.

Great shot. Surprised zep couldn’t get up from it… but I don’t really question body shots because they can often look sus.

That was a hell of a body shot. Didn't see it coming. Perfect positioning.jameswilson wrote: ↑23 Mar 2024, 19:06 Fair play he came from behind with that one.

Smith looked like a hype job in R1 and most of R2, but warmed in to it.
Great result.
How much is that Zep being 'shot' and how much Smith being good ?

Beautifully well-placed shot.
Dalton delivered. Incredible timing shown. He was landing that right hand at will.
Would like to see how he does against someone who has faster feet. But great win.

Gosh, who had Smith by stoppage?

Some nice work there, absolutely on the sweet spot.

Looked right on the centre of the stomach to me, rare you see them finish people as the abba provide good protection. Normally anything to the right of the abs cripples people to the liver, but as I said can’t recal many strait belly shot KOs….

Re: Round-by-Round: Dalton Smith vs. Jose Zepeda | DAZN - 23 March 2024
Smith continues to impress, tricky start, Zepeda started off sharp, was countering that left hand , timing it well, Smith took some clean shots in the first couple, he got into his groove in the 3rd though, 1/2s were working, reverse 1/2s or the left hook/right hands, was landing with more regularity, hitting Zepeda clean, Smith does move out of range with his chin high though and he was still getting clipped occasionally, that body shot in the 5th was sweet, right hand right into the stomach, Zepeda just froze before collapsing for the count, can't say fairer than that
