Sheer determination from Lane! Was being comfortably outboxed early but imposed his will on Bourke & broke him down. Nice win for him that.

I maintain he is 11ft 4 though due to my obstinacy and immaturity.
Hahaha who knows?

On another note Bourke is winning this but looks like he is tiring?
sorry mate was just being a bell. Fight turned out very interesting. Lane did so well.

Get in there .
Northampton lad does good .
Didn't expect that , guts and determination won him that , just shows how you can turn around a losing streak.

That's incredible I gave Lane next to no hope here, he was just on Bourke from the bell, Bourke was outboxing him in the first couple of rounds, countering him with the left hand, walking him on to shots and avoiding the rushes, Lane's eye and face were a red mess, looked like a TKO for Bourke was inevitable, 3rd round though Lane's rushes finally started to get to Bourke who couldn't keep him off, it wasn't pretty from Lane but it was paying off, still that 6th was insane, hurt Bourke, opened him up and never stopped punching until the ref jumped in, Bourke brave stayed on his feet but badly hurt and not throwing back

Bourke kind of wilted there. Maybe to do with the weight? Maybe not.

Great win for Ash. Love it when an underdog like this comes through.

Lane has the strangest accent.
Mixture of Northampton, Devon and gypsy - never heard anything quite like it !? :maybe:

I’m gutted. Was going to go to this but ended up taking the wife to the Backyard Comedy Club just 5 minutes down the road. Sounds like I missed a great night

good thing about York Hall is you won't have to wait ages for another card there. How was the comedy club?

Fortunately it was a cracking night out mate. The good thing with east London is that there are always a load of characters in the audience so the comics have a lot of material to work with

love it. I did an open mic night in London back in 2010 when visiting friends, loved it. My wife and I used to go to comedy a lot, Nottingham which is closer to us had some great nights. And Magners used to sponsor comedy nights in random places including a little town near us which got proper famous acts there. Glad you had a good evening mate
