Dubois has a punchers chance in my opinion, he's just not that good whereas Hrgovic, although sometimes limited, is much more skilled. Hrgovic can be slow and lumbersome but I don't see Dubois hitting harder than Zhang for that KO. Dubois Will have better work rate than Zhang so Hrgovic won't be able to coast at all but as long as he doesn't get sloppy then I see him winning pretty comfortably.

There is only one reason why this matchup isn’t on the Fury Usyk 1 undercard .
The vacant IBF belt will probably be on the line.

Really closely matched I think.
DDD might have the speed advantage, but Hrg is quite a crafty fighter.
I wouldn't bet on either to be a favourite really.

Ripper fight for IBF vacant if that’s what it is…

But shouldent it be AJ vs hrg if it’s the IBF?

I don’t mind DDDs chances. Hrg hasn’t been great lately, I consider both fairly similar guys. Big ish, simplish, good ish guys.

Nice. A quality, competitive match that I didn't see coming or have to hear about for years before it happened!

I'm so glad that the Saudi's bought boxing.

Hard to see hrg taking this if it’s not for a vacant belt…. Especially considering if he didn’t take this he would be ordered vs AJ for the vacant belt. But I guess Saudi money is a hell of a drug.

They're saving boxing as a global sport at a time when no one else is willing to.

However, I fear FW is risking turning his once great future hope into mere HW fodder.

Ok, so he recently beat Jarrell Miller, but that didn't look like a young HW in a hurry.

A big effort will be needed from the ever willing Dubois or else he's in danger of becoming a journeyman at 26, an age where many others have barely started these days.

Hrgovic will want to stay active and will welcome the money, so this 60/40 fight could happen.

Hrg has his am pedigree and win over Zhang, while DDD is faster and more explosive - really good matchup.

This is on the same card as Beterbiev v Bivol.
Saudis not only have the coin to make the fights, they actually know the ones to make.
Beterbiev v Bivol is great example.
For us it's fantastic, how much will they make on it though.
It could be said they'll make it off their boxing reputation which is soaring right now.

The saudis arent saving anything

Boxer purses need to drop dramatically given actual demand. They are keeping the bubble inflated for a few fighters - i think we get more top guys fighting each other when the stupid money dries up and promoters actually have to turn a profit on supply/demand

Pbc is out of cash
Dazn almost
Showtime gone
Hbo gone

All these models were net losers and inflated purses

The match pits #5 rated Box Rec fighter Dubios  vs #15 rated Box Rec fighter Hrgovic.

Hrgovic is the likely winner by a wide margin according to the poll.  And I agree that Hrgovic should win.

Hrgovic by stoppage. Dubois is mentally weak. Beating Fat Baby Miller was just a confidence builder. Hrgovic is on a diff level. Of course Dubois could land a KO punch but I doubt it bc Hrgovic has shown a solid chin so far.

The best thing about the Saudi money is that if Dubois loses a close fight against Hrgovic as is expected, he is still in the mix to fight another big name - Zhang/Wilder loser perhaps?

He has to fight the best to beat the best. Some think he beat Usyk, he’s fought Joyce in a fight he was possibly winning. Fair play to the lad. Like to see more of it
