saw a vid a few months ago with peter fury talking about boxing etc and then hughie came in towards the end and was gobbing off about his comeback saying he was going to basically batter everyone at the top including the likes of AJ .

Deluded fool .

was actually more sad than amusing although I couldnt help but laughing

Maybe, but I always thought he had some potential. Problem is, he is very tedious to watch. Hard getting fights when no one wants to watch them.
Still a young guy in a division where all the top guys are getting old.

Schooled him in how to not throw a punch for 12 rounds?
What a borefest that fight was, and Parker is boring at the best of times.
I wasn't being serious,just quoting Meaty Mick
I think this video is not capable of being posted too often.

But Billy-Joe and Tyson were sitting there and they thought he won as well.

tis an epic video. Is Hennessey still active? He doesn't have TV since ch5 but does seem to still have fighters. I read he sold 50% of his company to a DK associate from Middle East iirc.

The daft thing is, Hughie turned down the chance to fight Wilder before he got the Parker fight. He should have taken it.

ouch, that could have been a win for him there.

I do think Hughie is talented but not an easy watch.

Hennessy was a really good tv promoter in his prime had a great stable. I guess the boxing industry moved on and left Mick behind. Something unpleasent must have happened between him and Tyson. Imagine al the manager fees hes missed out on.

The excitement is palpable for Hughie's comeback.
Reminds me of the time BJS said he would come back if the fans wanted it, and kept his word :OhYes:
