In the future we will not be changing the laws of physics and all that is holy to placate a manager. Our shared attempt at being the perfect pair of commissioners will be much like leather......it is the flaws that make leather valuable above it's perfect cousin "vinyl". So if we make an error, it will be treated as if a referee or a judge has made an error. We will not punish the entire universe for my or Crease's failings.
We will attempt to be helpful. and when a manager has a legit issue....which I believe in this case gilgamesh did have.....there will be (on rare occasion)...a "no contest" ruling issued either by one of the three major belts, and independently by the WBO or the IBO. so fights in the future may incur wins, losses, draws and "NC"'s . There is no true fix for an "NC" other than what the major stakeholders will agree to. And Sadly there is no way to factor these "NCs" into the point collections.
This was a critical error in a big fight and crease made a decision. We'll need a sense of humor and a bit of forgiveness as we move forward.
It's not the first mistake, and not likely the last....one of Max fights was run twice...and i believe A Sam Langford fight was run twice.....but we did not make everyone suffer to fix the issue. IN Max's case he was held back for a week. In Sam's case he just went forward. And I still don't know for sure how the errors happened. We are shooting for perfection, but hopefully we can achieve excellence. The true degree of perfection is the achievement of a "good time".
That is the final word on human errors for this season. The software is unforgiving and can not be persuaded to act as if a fight did not take place. Same in life....thus "NC's" inevitably will happen in the future if such an error happens again. (Think Toney Ruiz)
Also..I think conditioning checks, which have always been a random part of the game will return NEXT SEASON. It's the default for a reason, and poorer fighters have them more often than the better ones. Maybe Ezz was known for being an "eager engager"? lol

I also suggest that a No Contest for whatever reason should always result in an Immediate rematch unless both managers wish to forego the rematch. This way nobody can escape with a nefarious result.

Oh, it's a contest.....
Re: PLEASE READ: >>>>>>The Future of Human Errors when it comes to the BRS
I'm not going to impose on the natural order. When a mistake happens in real life....the various stakeholders look at it and together decide what to do next. Hopefully reasonable minds will see eye to eye, and when they don't, they don't. And we carry on.

Quite agree Mr Buzz, the fittest survive, the weak perish and - did you know that animals adapt to their environment? It makes me wonder what all this Commish power is doing to us...
Anyways, No Contests from now on... Buzz is right...
