Let's imagine, that Mercer fights Joshua instead of Lewis at Madison Square Garden.
Would Joshua lose at MSG again, as he did against Andy Ruiz?
So, it's basically Mercer of the Lewis fight against any version of Joshua.
How do you think it goes?

Lewis was better and tougher than Joshua. We haven't really seen Joshua overcoming big adversity. Klit let AJ go, after he had put him down. Ruiz didn't allow AJ to recover, Mercer wouldn't either. Mercer of that version surely could hurt Joshua. I can't imagine, how Joshua could control this fight.

That's the way I see it, too.DrDuke wrote: ↑30 Mar 2024, 22:07 Lewis was better and tougher than Joshua. We haven't really seen Joshua overcoming big adversity. Either AJ would outbox Mercer on the outside behind his long left jabs, right hands and combinations to take a decision convincingly or would get a gift decision if Mercer land the better shots than AJ.
Re: Anthony Joshua vs Ray Mercer
Mercer too tough. He'd eventually get AJ.
