Given the twin 10-8s, aye.

Wardley's the closest thing to a heavyweight Benn in years; fantastic value.
That would be 8 rounds to 3 with one even wouldn't it ?
Harsh on Fabio. :witzend:

Well - who ya got in the rematch ?
Both will improve, who can do something better/different..... :maybe:
And a point off for knockdown and another point off.

Wardley's nose looks like it'll never heal .
Going to be a problem for him going forward surely.

Agreed, career shortening fight, and I reckon the rematch would go a similar way.
Boxer have a lot invested in Clarke as well.
Maybe Clarke can take the Prince Patel rematch first :yay:

This was a classic fight. Fabio has a lot of heart and can take serious punishment.

I thought a draw was fair. In a rematch, I would favour Fabio.

They don’t want to be having fights like that too often, hard night for them.

Wardley has had that scar tissue on his nose for a while. I'm not surprised it opened up. It's going to be problem going forward.

I don't mind the draw, I think Clarke was the tidier boxer as is to be expected and landed some lovely upercuts and cleaner punches, but the lack of ability to go through the gears is a big problem for him. Where as Wardley lacks the quality but will agressively throw 6, 7 or 8 shots and at this level it is surprising his opponents.

Incredible stuff.

Havnt seen such a thriller at this level since Danny Williams went to war with Skelton.

No idea how Fabio made it through that.

Clarke didn't have a mark on him...but when he flopped in the corner at the end it was clear how knackered he was.

No one deserved to lose that fight. Draw was spot on.

That's just cruel, Fabio would tee off on old Del Boy, and Dels pricing himself out these days

Definitely. He's no pugilist specialist, but he's resolutely bad ass. The fact that he is British champ with so little experience is a great story. He probably could fill Portman Road after this. Pisser to get to though.

Can’t believe I missed this, sounds like a cracker. Gotta rematch it but I’m guessing wardly won’t wanna seeing as he gets to keep the belt… but it’s the best headline sky have.
