I seem to recall Poxon was in the corner for at least one of the Glencoffe fights?
Who was the trainer for the Hoye fight? I would have guessed Poxon but now you’ve said that, it sounds like Clinton was very happy with his camp then.

I think it goes through the Port stuff in detail.

Clinton and Dennis got on very well. Clinton was very loyal to the team around him.Pugilist-specialist wrote: ↑03 Apr 2024, 16:10So what is his relationship like with his promoter?Spud wrote: ↑03 Apr 2024, 04:15I was part of the backroom staff…. I will be very honest … the criticism I have of Dennis as a promoter .. he didn’t add fighters to His stable when he had Ricky Hatton, Clinton Woods and jamie McDonnell

I did not know he had McDonnell, I knew his father when he was a competitive bodybuilder, good family. His dad is on our gym wall as one of the champs our gym owner trained.

I always wondered about this as it seemed a no brainer. Had he lost the inf title by this point?
Clinton was cracking and always struck me as a nice bloke

You do realise that “got” is in the past tense?
