Oscar De La Hoya vs. Pipino Cuevas

Post by scorpio83 »

15 Rounds Welterweight Bout

The Golden Boy would outbox Cuevas behind his fast jabs and combinations to stop Cuevas in the late rounds. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Oscar De La Hoya would do the same thing in this fight like he did Felix "Tito" Trinidad.

Will he have the stamina for the next 3 rounds? The real championship rounds from 13 to 15? I don't know. But he is not going to slug it out with Pipino Cuevas at no time in the fight.

De La Hoya would avoid Cuevas' big left hooks with sharp counterpunches to stop him in the late rounds imo as he wouldn't allow Cuevas to go to distance.

I feel like De La Hoya would handily outbox and then stop Cuevas.
