BBC Wales and Sky Sports Simulcast.

Post by stujones »

Lauren Price's world title fight will be shown live on both BBC and Sky at the same time.

Is this a first for UK TV? Wonder if there will be more of these - could Eddie Hearn strike a similar deal with Joe Cordina.

It's probably a ploy to try and double the amount of viewers to two people.

I wouldn't be able to sit through another one of her fights myself but wish her the best. It's a bit reminiscent of the Super Skeete 6 rounder allegedly era.

Probably Tony Bellew after he said Natasha Jonas had done more for Liverpool than Conteh.

It would be fantastic if the BBC and itv dipped their toes especially after looking at the favourable viewing fighres of wasserman on channel 5

Agree, I'd love it. I think Eubank Jr put ITV off boxing when they did their ITV PPV with him sadly.

I'll tune into BBC Wales on the iplayer for the undercard and turn the main event off. A ploy to increase views, when Boxxer are realising they have overpaid to sign a promotional dud. Wish them all well obviously.
