Max refuses to fight himself.....The Ol' Maxie Rosenbloom feels no need to face his new persona of Battling Maxo......though he may be the only fighter who can defeat himself.
With that said, I shall run the non controversial fights that have been clearly inked. Maxie will face a top notch opponent, and would like to take this opportunity to publicly scorn both Harold Johnson and Archie Moore who have snubbed him. Their day will certainly come.........in fact we thought we saw a thread where Max was either the mandatory or was invited to face off with Moore. But then the storm hit, and we see no evidence of that at this point.
Moore seems to be wanting to wade into marshmallow land and face Tarver. But that's the sort of fear Battling Maxo puts into this group of "champions" hearts. We don't blame anyone....we fully understand.
However we thought we did see evidence that Bivins was invited to face Langford, this from both the IBO director Shuffleshitz and by Langford's Manager....so I'm considering running that as it seem to have documented evidence of it's underwriting.
