Is Fisher ready though, and out of the two, Wardley seems a bit wrong for the Romford Bull?
Ed is cherping. Fisher is a ways away from this levle.

Wouldn’t expect anyone inside boxrec top 50 for fisher this year… needs to stay active and fight some tough guys.

Babic could be an option, soo dacres for the brittish (if he keeps looking ordinary) but I think he will be matched even more gently.

He's 87 on Boxrec, I suspect they'll pick some faded names. Erkan Teper is coming off a loss and draw and no stappges for 5 years, he's number 100 but still might be a bit too live for him. Hammer is 84 but they probably won't dare put him in after the Dillian debacle. Mark De Mori is 78 and well known and would be an easy win. Gerald Washington is 71 on Boxrec, 41 in years, has lost 3 on the bounce and no win since 2019, but again might still be deemed a bit risky unless he comes to lay down a la Molina-Wardley.

Considering his lack of experience, Fisher is coming on fine, only a kid too so got plenty of time. He can do his apprenticeship in the gym.
He has come on quicker than Hatton.

Agree.
And has the right attitude too.
I didn't think he was close to ready for either Clarke (too experienced) and Wardley (too unpredictable).

I like him too, never bigs up his wins too much and always reiterates he is learning. Has won a solid Area title and is not rushing it. And sells loads of tickets, making a good living, good luck to him. I like his dad too, funny chap.

Wardley does a good column in Boxing News this week talking about the fight, and bits like this are really endearing:

I’ve watched highlights. I was laughing a lot. My face, the blood everywhere, the punches being thrown, I was like I am actually mental. All the way through it I was smiling. I was like I love this, but I can tell my family and friends are all worried. They keep asking me, “Are you okay?” I’m perfectly fine. I had the best weekend of my life. I really do love this game.

I am warming to Wardley and I have been out of the habit of being a regular fight fan for a while.
He feels like a decent shot of good news, even if his career might be quite short and has some clear limits.

Finally watching this properly. Great fight, needs to happen again. Personally I think I just want it next, don’t gamble it, just run it back septemberish. If I’m wardly I’m asking for it in ipswiitch seeing as he is gambling his belts. But other use great O2 fight.

Wardlys swarms are hard to deal with.

Fraze jab and uppercut is great.

Point deduction was very harsh.

50-50 rematch, surely good money in it. Cant see any huge alternatives out there for them.
