Re Edwards, good boxer, he does not come across as too likeable imo though. I think it would help his career if he was a bit....nicer.

I hope he gets a run of luck. I can see him being stop start for years and losing to someone he would beat easy in his prime

Talented fighter but it was and has been proven to be a terrible decsion to walk away from the Akhmedov fight on a Canelo undercard no less.

This has just started oj Ch5.

The french guy strolled to the ring in a shirt and tie to a Nick Cave song.

Id like him to win.

Charlie Edwards is boxing quite well I think. He's good on the counter

Fairly decent ten rounds to help get rid of the ring rust for Edwards, moved reasonably well and a little too sharp for Orys. Orys had occasional moments of success but doesn’t carry the footwork or pop required to slow/trouble an opponent in the mould of Charlie. The current WBC champion Nakatani is a whole different kettle of fish mind, a real top level operator who I’d expect to crush Edwards in brutal fashion.

I reckon if Paul Butler comes through his IBO shot, they'll make that fight. Nakatani looks a bit much

98-92 Edwards as well but far from bowled over like comms, he did win decisively, Ory was a bit of a pest, would say he was the aggressor, switched now and again, defensively pretty sound, thought he took a couple of the later rounds when the chaps were waxing lyrical about Charlie but overall Edwards looked more in control , footwork and defense were good but didn't land anything that looked real quality, uppercut was his best shot clearly but jab was poor and never targeted the body despite probably landing his best shot there, I know he's been inactive but he's miles off it , didn't land clean nearly enough

This Quezada can move a bit. He's giving the debutant a bit to think about

Enjoyed the undercard and Edwards got some much needed rounds. He seems really happy with Smith.

Yeah, I thought the opponents in all 3 fights they showed on Channel 5 put up a good show.

Fair play to Swifty Smith. He’ll be good at that job in the gym and the corner I think.
