6 losses, 5 world champs, Arthur, Khan, Morales, Crolla and Burns, fought anyone, seen him box William Warburton on Ronnie Clark's undercard years ago, glad I can say I seen him box live even if against a journeyman

I think it's possibly a bit early to be conjecturing about possible causes, but I must admit I was a bit uncomfortable with the Burns fight (Ricky was younger, naturally bigger and he'd been fighting at a better level for his previous few fights) but I really can't understand why the Laws fight was signed and how the Board passed it.
Doesn’t bear thinking about what might happened had he fought again in a few weeks time.

Terrible news RIP

Can't really blame the recent fights unless more info comes out, Willie looked like a physical unit in the Burns fight, even though Burns ran through him

Willie was just one of those consumers pros

I remember watching it, on ITV iirc. He had a good career did Willie.
