Yeah. Doesn’t make much sense when the sports coverage will likely be dominated by the football.

It will be interesting to see what they do. I already think it’s hard sell as a PPV as it is given there isn’t a U.K. star on the card. The clash with the footy makes it even tougher for a PPV to get many buys.

They may be better off keeping it off PPV. If the show is on TNT then it it’s tricky to push that and the football. I suppose though they’d have a big audience to push the boxing to post football.

CL final will be 8-10pm UK time.

Having the boxing finished by 8pm would be peak heat in Saudi and a morning card in the US.

Starting the boxing after the football would only favour US fans but would be the middle of the night for Saudi + Europe.

Only two realistic options are a direct clash or having a 2 hour break in the boxing.

Football is the biggest sport (and it's the biggest annual game in that sport) in Saudi and the world. If he wants viewers, that's one of the worst clashes you can get.

He wants the fights he wants , when he wants them and has enough dosh not to be beholding to other sports .

The fact that it's football makes it all the better for me . People don't believe me but football will be a minority sport within 50 years.

How many kids do you see playing jumpers for goalposts on local parks ?

You don't! Organised matches for kids only , when I was a lad kids kicked footballs everywhere they could. There are too many other distractions for kids nowadays and if I didn't drag my lad to the varying sports he plays he'd happily sit veging away on a tablet looking at shite , like they all do .

I see Hutchinson mentioned a lot on Traveller Boxers on FB/Twitter - is he a traveller too, Sean? I know you mentioned your dad's from the Irish Traveller community.

I could never find anything online. Also, he's got a Geordie accent more than Scottish! Excuse my ignorance in advance.

Also didn't realise he had such a top amateur background.

If he shows he can be defensive now and has learnt from his defeat, he could be really dangerous.

Aye he won world youth amateur didn't he - I wasn't aware either til I read up on it. He seems in a good place, was talking about his faith etc which usually means to me they're more centered and less likely to be going bonkers between camps.

I've never read of him being a traveller although Hutchinson is listed as a gypsy name in the 19th century so not sure. If he is he'll be a Scottish traveller and my lot are all Paddies so I can't really say with any certainty buddy. I dare say his family lineage is Scottish and they migrated down a bit to the North East. He's from a little village Carstairs and I don't think there's any traveller sites there but his family could have been settled for many a generation.

Sorry this is not much help buddy.
