David Allen seems to be good mates with GBM/Izzy (his fighters appear on every GBM bill) does this mean we may have to endure Fury vs Allen at some point?
I like both, I'd happily watch that.
I'm quite the opposite I can't do with either of them; both of them talk a good fight only to disappoint when they get in the ring.
The only good thing that comes from them fighting is it hopefully sending the loser into retirement.

each to their own mate. I know people who Dave has helped without fanfare in my town, giving his time, and being really kind to, so have a lot of time for him. I think Dave is a thoroughly decent person and refreshingly honest. And find him funny. His YT channel is funny too.
I hope Hughie can still well and put a decent run together. He can really box. I just think he needs to sit down on his pubches more. If he does, then he could pick up some very good wins.

He's just a babby.
I guess he is difficult to match, well above domestic standard, short of world level and not easy on the eye.
Against Sam Sexton he was great, but has gone into his shell at a higher level.
I genuinely thought he would win a world title, seems to have a dig on him when he sits down on his punches.
I really believe Hughie could make a splash , but definetly not with his dad training him , Learnt well under his father BUT i think to reach that next step he needs a trainer who can take him to the next step , and change him up a bit , the style he has just will not cut it

He had all the basics and a bit of flair at 22. He just isn't aggressive enough. When he is, he is great.
He was semi competitive in a world title fight vs Parker when Hughie was just 22.
Was semi competitive vs pulev eat 23 (got a bit unlucky with a cut)
Was semi competitive vs povetkin at 24..
Insane run of fights for a sub 25year old heavyweight to have. And was back in the wins then 2 + years off.
In my mind he has defiantly tested positive for somthing… otherwise how can he just have nearly 3 years off. It was the perfect 3 years to be milking the fury name too.

I’m with you. Drugs ban makes perfect sense. And if he was doping that’s his second ban & he really should be serving a life ban

Don't use the Parker fight to try to justify Hughie Fury. Competitive? Your having a laugh.

Like i said he needs a different trainer , . Look at all Peter Furys boxers , there no different in what they want to do in a fight and how they try to acheive it

Should be get a return out the way and try to get Frazier or Wardley?
Problem is, the risk reward isn't good enough for them to take on Hughie, same for any contender
No one seems to want to fight for the European title now and fighters pass up on that. That 6 7 Ukrainian has it, maybe Hughie can position himself for that. He can hold his own against tall fighters from sparring with Tyson

Maybe but it's been 7 years since they sparred together. He'd probably be more likely to beat Zakhozhyi if he isn't actually any good.

I think he's not a bad fighter. Hughie should have his number though
