John H Stracey beating Napoles in Mexico in 1975.....IBHOF Napoles had beaten the best a few times over :salut:
And Hatton ripping straight into Tysuzu.

But I'd go for Fury doing a number on Wlad and right in Wlad's backyard.

He took everything away from Wlad - totally confused-disarmed him - and did it in Germany where every visitor lost back then (even when they'd won).

The rematch win over Wilder is a close second. Wilder comprehensively smashed-up.

Wlad was ancient and over hyped after his lengthy reign in an era of severe mediocrity.
Wilder really? Like the guy but a one-trick pony after he admirably won an Olympic medal.

Not having this but respect your opinion. πŸ‘

Fury only landed seven punches per round. That is quite the achievement.

Razor tight decision also - don't care what Warren and Fury say now.

Jackie Berg vs Kid Chocolate.
Definitely this. Chocolate was undefeated in over 50 bouts.

Jack 'Kid' Bergs American adventure was nothing short of remarkable.

Not in the same bracket as some of the top tier fights already mentioned but haye v mormeck worthy of being in the discussion.

Benn going to Galvano's home town in Italy and taking the WBC title from him was a decent win. Not the greatest mind, but there was always some suspect shite going on when facing an Italian away back then.

Shit fight, against an ancient champ at the end of a long career with shed loads of miles on the clock, and barely squeaked by him. Neither his nor Joshua's wins were great achievements. I think it highlights how weak both are as champions.

In his prime, Wlad would have flattened both of them after outboxing them.

There's not been a truly impressive win by a British Heavyweight, since Lewis fought Holyfield, although actually, I would argue his win over Klitchsko was more impressive, to take on a guy like that, at short notice, and grind out the win.

I agree. I think Lewis' win over Vitali is very impressive. Vitali was a tough assignment for any heavyweight in history.

I concur, I think Vitali would have been highly competitive in any era in history - he was big, strong, and used his physical assets well, he had a really awkward style, leaning on the back foot, and keeping his hands out in front of him, made it hard to connect, and he had a very good workrate too - not a brilliant puncher technically, but still cumulatively a hurtful puncher.

He was also tough and pretty much fearless too, cannot imagine any fighter in history intimidating Vitali. He was a bit of a nightmare, and proved so against lewis in the early running, before Lewis started to ramp up the pressure and his much heavier punches started to Land.

I'd have picked Vitali over Wlad all day long, he would have worn him down,

I mean impressive as in 'Greatest win by a british fighter' - can you really rank any of their wins by that metric?

Hahaha. What are you on? Wilder is a windmilling fool who struggled with Artur Szpilka, took eleven rounds to beat Johann Duhaupas and nine rounds, I repeat, NINE ROUNDS to beat Eric Molina.

He would beat me in 11 seconds. Coco, Wilder's CV is filled with wins over guys who never beat any body good and one of the worst 'champions' in the history of the sport.

bermane the blob and big dom breazeale are among the 3 best guys wilder beat in almost 50 fights. 120-108d by joe parker. never unified. no way is fury over wilder the greatest win ever by a brit or close to it

how forum posters would do vs wilder is irrelevant , talk about scraping the barrel
