York Hall and Ally Pally are still the spiritual home of British boxing, you cannot beat the atmosphere of those venues.

liverpool has produced a lot of goot ametres of late, this may well be because they have a boxing coordinater there or because the irish are violent... I wouldn't like to say.

Dunne's record sucks, don't know how he's a threat to Hunter?

There used to be alot of good pros in the old days too and some world challengers.

Still not bad though, two english champs and top 5 at light middle domestically.

Last time I spoke to Macklin, he still had his Brummie accent

but I know what you mean - he went up to Manc land because he wanted the best gym/trainer/sparring he could found and I think he found a great set uo at Pheonix camp.

Manchester gets my vote as the countrys prem fight town, followed by London and Sheffield.

What happened to the good ole days, when Eubank and Benn and the like fought at the NEC...*sob sob sniff*

York Hall does have quite the atmosphere. Was there for the second Francis/Holden fight. I must say you Brits know how to cheer at your sporting events. What is Ally Pally?
