Anyone have an idea what time the replay will be shown in the morning? My nights of staying up to 5am are long in the rear view mirror.

A marketing pls? Garcia with a beer in jeans… and not Looking drawn out at all.

2 lb for the beer and jeans. Another 1.2 to cut to make weight… feel he could of made it easy…

Very weird build up. No
Idea what the fornicate is going on. But I have always semi fancies Garcia Va Haney stylistically. But fornicate if Garcia is acting send him to Hollywood… if he isn’t send him to an institution…
That wasn’t the real weigh in
Oh are they doing that ufc shit with a pre weigh in weigh in?
Exactly. Ceremonial crap. They’ve done it in boxing in a couple of other boxing fights though I can’t remember which….

I have a feeling Haney is going to put up an absolute clinical beating of Garcia and will probably stop him.

Garcia looks out of it completely. Some people are saying he's 'selling the fight' but I think that's a load of bull. He came in over the weight and now has a huge fine and misses the title shot, clearly that wasn't the plan.

It's also a little disgusting seeing Dela Hoya his promoter in the background obviously under the influence as well..

Haney is hungry and in great shape. Just can't see him in danger here.

You know , when it was announced , i was excited for this fight thought this is gonna be a cracker , now , well its 9.30 am here in Aust , its a beutiful sunny morning , just had my coffee after a sleep in 8am , got up , just sat chiling posting on here , , fight starts at around 11 am , and i've got two options , i can watch on my lounge free stream , or i can go to the pub where its on , got a whole bunch of mates who are going , there all i suppose casuals you would say , but there intrigued to see how the boxer versus nutcase is gonna go .

Me i've not made my mind up i'm thinking if he's really lost the plot , don't support it the guy should of been pulled out , but if its all an act , then still don't bother i want to watch boxing not a circus , so i'm really torn between , shower dressed , and taxi to the pub , or shower dre4ssed , start my bike up and hit the hills playing Mick Doohan

Stoner's lying on a sofa most of the time with chronic fatigue syndrome, thinking about all the people who done him wrong :|

jeez, sean mccomb very unlucky there. even dazn commentary had him up 97-93. i usually hate that type of air flicking style but still won it for me here

aside from spots here and there barboza was sluggish all night, really struggled with mccomb's speed, length and movement.

one thing i really give credit to a guy like gavvin gwyne for, despite all his limtations, when he misses he keeps poring it on. not self conscious about missing. that's what you need vs a speedy mover flicker like mccomb who are tough to trackdown. so many guys are hypnotized and lose their output. that happened to barboza to some degree and he fell into mccomb's trap. very fortunate to be bailed out by 2 judges

That referee nearly ruined the fight. Was crazy.

Kinda glad Garcia delivered and smoked Haney. Just couldn't live with the power and speed of Garcia.

Hats off, this was a helluva win. Proved all the doubters wrong..

112-112 for me as well, couldn't split them, great fight, bizarre fight, I didn't give Garcia anything apart from the 1st when he hurt Haney and the last and the rounds he dropped Haney, as I say he hurt Haney with a left hook and had him latching on in the 1st but Haney recovered well and was outboxing Garcia, looked sharp with the jab, Garcia wasnt doing anything apart from holding and moving as well as turning his back, Haney guilty of holding as well but he was working piling up the rounds then in the 7th out of nowhere Garcia drops Haney hard with that left then ended up getting a point off for hitting on break which looked harsh, stern warning would've been enough, Haney's jaw looked broken but he got back on the horse and Garcia continued to just look for that one big shot which he found in the 10th, same shot again and Haney's legs were jelly, done well to stay back on his feet, Garcia then had Haney down a third time in the 11th, nice counter hook and that was all Haney's good work undone, had it a draw, can see Garcia edging it I suppose but struggle to find rounds to give him apart from 12th when he didn't knock him down, great fight though, batshit crazy like the build up

Bizzare is definitely the word to describe the entire event. The build up, the weigh in, the fight, the outcome. All bizarre.

agree, very strange fight. i thought garcia just edged it but his approach was really weird. would spend almost entire rounds barely throwing, semi turning his back while haney pounded him in the side. was whiney with the ref. even after some of the kds he kinda backed off and acted like he was grumpy the ref didnt stop it. but he was so eexplosive and just kept hurting haney, by the end dev looked battered , swollen head, busted lip and fat jaw

i couldve seen the draw too, but am kinda glad garcia got it. as much as i dislike him personally he's a lot more dynamite to watch than haney. the win should keep him in things for another big figt
