yes tank is a beast, his next fight is good too
Re: Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia | DAZN - 20 April 2024
Garcia proves he is bigger than the belts.
He didn't care the belts were on the line or not, and neither will his millions of followers on social media.
He is playing a very strange game, but has the looks and natural charisma very few in the game have.
Teo next I guess.

That $1.5m looking a good investment. Biggest name in the sport outside of the heavyweights now.
Re: Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia | DAZN - 20 April 2024
Pleased Garcia won this, he's much better for boxing than Haney. Really miffed Dazn put it on ppv in UK, sounds like a good fight so will have to watch it when it arrives on the channel as part of the subscription.

your Mystic Meg powers were off for this, although I was with you in doubting it would happen.handsofstone wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 01:21 112-112 for me as well, couldn't split them, great fight, bizarre fight, I didn't give Garcia anything apart from the 1st when he hurt Haney and the last and the rounds he dropped Haney, as I say he hurt Haney with a left hook and had him latching on in the 1st but Haney recovered well and was outboxing Garcia, looked sharp with the jab, Garcia wasnt doing anything apart from holding and moving as well as turning his back, Haney guilty of holding as well but he was working piling up the rounds then in the 7th out of nowhere Garcia drops Haney hard with that left then ended up getting a point off for hitting on break which looked harsh, stern warning would've been enough, Haney's jaw looked broken but he got back on the horse and Garcia continued to just look for that one big shot which he found in the 10th, same shot again and Haney's legs were jelly, done well to stay back on his feet, Garcia then had Haney down a third time in the 11th, nice counter hook and that was all Haney's good work undone, had it a draw, can see Garcia edging it I suppose but struggle to find rounds to give him apart from 12th when he didn't knock him down, great fight though, batshit crazy like the build up

Not looking to blow smoke up your arse mate but came on to see what you wrote as I always do after a fight I didn’t watchhandsofstone wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 01:21 112-112 for me as well, couldn't split them, great fight, bizarre fight, I didn't give Garcia anything apart from the 1st when he hurt Haney and the last and the rounds he dropped Haney, as I say he hurt Haney with a left hook and had him latching on in the 1st but Haney recovered well and was outboxing Garcia, looked sharp with the jab, Garcia wasnt doing anything apart from holding and moving as well as turning his back, Haney guilty of holding as well but he was working piling up the rounds then in the 7th out of nowhere Garcia drops Haney hard with that left then ended up getting a point off for hitting on break which looked harsh, stern warning would've been enough, Haney's jaw looked broken but he got back on the horse and Garcia continued to just look for that one big shot which he found in the 10th, same shot again and Haney's legs were jelly, done well to stay back on his feet, Garcia then had Haney down a third time in the 11th, nice counter hook and that was all Haney's good work undone, had it a draw, can see Garcia edging it I suppose but struggle to find rounds to give him apart from 12th when he didn't knock him down, great fight though, batshit crazy like the build up

Would tank have been able to do that to Garcia at 140
Was Garcia severely compromised at 137 or whatever they fought at or was it just a case of styles make fights ?

Re: Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia | DAZN - 20 April 2024
ya it was good, not lots of big exhcanges or non stop action or anything, but the ebb and flow of momentum and drama was good, and at times rather bizarre
Re: Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia | DAZN - 20 April 2024
So do youse all think he’s played a blinder like Teo against Taylor? Or was he both mental and very good?margaret thatcher wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 04:07 ya it was good, not lots of big exhcanges or non stop action or anything, but the ebb and flow of momentum and drama was good, and at times rather bizarre

That just sounds like something I’d like to watch. Gutted I’ve just woke up on the couch with crusty eyes and a hangover

id say teo overall gave a much more polished performanceDelta Jay wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 04:14So do youse all think he’s played a blinder like Teo against Taylor? i didnt think garcia fought particularly smart or looked particularly well prepared tbh. a lotta rounds he did absolutely nothing and would get pushed back nearly the whole time. he would also continually turn to the side as if he didnt want to engage, so much that his back was almost to haney. but he was just so explosive that he was able to keep hurting haney and compensate for all those moments - although even with 3 kds i could still see a draw tbh

Garcia claiming just now he was too dehydrated against Tank, almost died making weight, had blisters on his lips and knew he had no power to fight against Tank like that.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 04:00Would tank have been able to do that to Garcia at 140

Haha cheers mate, seems others were a bit more appreciative of Garcia's work than me, I gave him first and last rounds and the 3 rounds he dropped Haney including the 7th when he Ry also lost a point for hitting on break, l struggle to find what other rounds he won, one judge gave him 115 which including the deduction would mean they gave Garcia 8 rounds which is plain wrongsmiling assassin wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 03:30Not looking to blow smoke up your arse mate but came on to see what you wrote as I always do after a fight I didn’t watchhandsofstone wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 01:21 112-112 for me as well, couldn't split them, great fight, bizarre fight, I didn't give Garcia anything apart from the 1st when he hurt Haney and the last and the rounds he dropped Haney, as I say he hurt Haney with a left hook and had him latching on in the 1st but Haney recovered well and was outboxing Garcia, looked sharp with the jab, Garcia wasnt doing anything apart from holding and moving as well as turning his back, Haney guilty of holding as well but he was working piling up the rounds then in the 7th out of nowhere Garcia drops Haney hard with that left then ended up getting a point off for hitting on break which looked harsh, stern warning would've been enough, Haney's jaw looked broken but he got back on the horse and Garcia continued to just look for that one big shot which he found in the 10th, same shot again and Haney's legs were jelly, done well to stay back on his feet, Garcia then had Haney down a third time in the 11th, nice counter hook and that was all Haney's good work undone, had it a draw, can see Garcia edging it I suppose but struggle to find rounds to give him apart from 12th when he didn't knock him down, great fight though, batshit crazy like the build up![]()

Great fight. Thought Garcia won clear. Ref was crooked.
Haney showed what he is made of though, and never gave up trying to win.

Wasn’t a stoppage, but he’s the only one that thought Garcia would do it.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 04:03 Here’s how the experts see it:
DIEGO MORILLA: GARCIA TKO 10
“As hard as it is to see a path for Garcia to win this, I believe he sees something in Haney that we don’t. Knowing him as he does from his amateur days, Garcia has all but begged for this fight, and there may be a reason for that. Haney always finds a way to win, but his dominance in the ring sometimes leads him to become overconfident, and all it could take for Garcia to win this is a single error from Haney. It may take time, but I am betting on that GPS-guided left hook to land sometime during the championship rounds to put Garcia in the superstardom realm that has eluded him so far.”

Eddie interacts well with absolute headcases. WWE levels here.
Henry off to jump in a hill of white stuff again.

I wish the boxing dad's could be removed from boxing honestly. Especially when they're not even their sons trainer and its obvious when they've had a few drinks.
Eddie handled him well, got an apology out of him in seconds
