Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
Drago only a 2/1 outsider. 4/1 to score a KO victory over the Cabbage.
Bookies are wise to how vulnerable the Cabbage is.
Also weirdly Babic is listed as 6ft1 and Drago 6ft7. It did not look at all like a 6 inch height difference at the face offs.

Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
madness to have Babic on off-tv vs City vs Arse

Cheers for starting this, had no idea this fight was on so early, should be a cracker. Chucked the stream on my phone while watching the football on the big tv.

Babic clearly wore high heels for the face offs.
Also ref doing fu ck all about Babic holding Robinson round the back of the head and throwing uppercuts with the other hand.
Also seen this is 10 rounds which is good to see.

Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
You can be as tough as you like but you can't fight like that every fight.
It's infuritating because Babic telegraphs it so horrendously that it could be so easy. But then I'm not in the ring so maybe it is harder to see than I think.
Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
He did get out of the way of a few swings , but he was knackered after not very long at all and couldn't evade anything else.jameswilson wrote: ↑31 Mar 2024, 12:47You can be as tough as you like but you can't fight like that every fight.

A decent boxer with that reach would make easy work of Babic .The fact that Robinson was so critically honest about himself In the fact he said he was "crap" himself tells you all you need to know .I'd love him to be good, but it ain't happening.
Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
if Lawal shows up we might need some RBR scores here gents...
Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
meh so far
I'll guess 1-1 - Lawal 1st Vid 2nd.
19-19

Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
Feels more like a glorified spar right now..
Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
WTactualF ?!

Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
Viddal moves nicely, but this is like Hughie vs Parker.
2-2
2-2
Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
Riley’s biggest issue IMO is he’s slipping and moving, but not controlling the distance effectively to set himself up for counters. Feels style over substance right now.
Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
f**k me this is dull
Why didn't they put Babic vs Drago on first ?

Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
if Viddal isn't ill then he's got no stamina - looks fooked
Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
These two are obviously gentle, smiley characters faking beef, then Chev turns up and it kicks off !!

Re: Wardley v Clarke RBR
Hi,
What strategies can Riley employ to improve his control of distance in order to set himself up for effective counters?
