Cut looks like it will heal up OK.
It better, because Eddie seems to have a very full agenda for him.

Think it would be better for him to do that on an American card again. Erase the O'Quinn demons and the demons of fighting in America.

Won well tonight, showed he is already a level above domestic.
Got my doubts at world level though, cuts don't help when swimming in the deep end either.
Let's see...

I enjoyed it, it did look sparsely attended though.

He is exciting to watch, partly because of his great skills, and partly because we suspect his chin.
Could well be the next Amir Khan
Anyway, Eddie's full of big plans for him already. Look forward to seeing him again.

me too Kiwi and I agree that air of vulnerability adds to it to me. Looking forward to seeing him again. Unlike Khan I was also impressed that he was ready and scheduled to rematch his opponent straight away, before the latter pulled out for personal reasons. No judgement on Khan but his readiness to fight him again is worthy of mention for me.

im not sure about mcgrail's chin - o quinn isnt a puncher and he totally iced mcgrail. but petey rushed flush into a hail mary haymaker. i wouldnt call him chinny yet
but if he actually is chinny it's going to be a problem with how aggressive he is and the way he leaps in

Just the fact he might be makes him a more exciting watch.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 18:59 im not sure about mcgrail's chin - o quinn isnt a puncher and he totally iced mcgrail. but petey rushed flush into a hail mary haymaker. i wouldnt call him chinny yet

Khan was all about putting bums on seats, that's what earned him the big bucks, being vulnerable actually helped him

I agree. To a lesser extent it's what I liked watching Enzo Mac for, he could spark or be sparked. Still remember watching him when he was a 19 year old prospect, they brought in Lee Swaby to get beat on BBC and Lee iced him. I was well happy as Lee is from Lincoln and I'd spoken to him before, lovely fella.Coco wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 19:10Just the fact he might be makes him a more exciting watch.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 18:59 im not sure about mcgrail's chin - o quinn isnt a puncher and he totally iced mcgrail. but petey rushed flush into a hail mary haymaker. i wouldnt call him chinny yet
