Lou Tabet, United States scores the bout 115 to 112
The winner and still WBC light heavyweight champion by unanimous decision is Ezzard Charles!
Looks pretty championship to me. Hopefully we will get to the "one place" you love the most....meanwhile we travel a bit together, and hopefully it's a nice ride. There is some experimenting going on this season as we sturdy up our sea legs. Whaddya got against the Navy?
Re: Event#19 Quarry Vs Witherspoon...Gibbons vs Barkley....JHL vs Moore....WBCChamps Charles vs Foster
My point is, no champs were supposed to meet. Belts couldn't be unified.
So does Foster still have the WBC Silver belt, is what I'm asking?

Re: Event#19 Quarry Vs Witherspoon...Gibbons vs Barkley....JHL vs Moore....WBCChamps Charles vs Foster
Ahhh I got to this last. Well in MY assumption...or my reasoning, I had not included this in my "no unification" statement. And though I can see your point....MY reasoning was that this "split title" was kinda sorta due to human error. AND that the opportunity for it to be reunited came as a nice surprise within the happenstance of the MDT. When I said "Titles" I should have said "Sanctioning bodies". Because that was MY assumption hope and desire. So I see your point. And if your guy had won the fight I hope you would have been equally advocating for the other loser.
But My definition of "unification of titles" Should have been more properly stated as "unification of sanctioning bodies". Or at least I should have taken the time to better define these terms. I hope this explanation helps. However if it does not help.....Bivens who just lost his REAL IBF title can be called upon to put a massive beating on Foster who just lost his kinda sortaish WBC Silvery Moon title. I'm sure you have said yes if my guy still had the IBF title....and you would have been the first person we would have reached out to to clobber.
Accept my offer as a token of my empathy of your loss. And so I can see Bivins beat Foster down to a bloody pulp.
