11th May Cardiff Boxxer card, worst tv card of recent times?

Pretty dire for a Sky card with 3 and a half weeks to go. Bit of a comedown from the Clarke - Wardley fight.

I actually think it’s been better than last year.

Because they’ve likely given big guarantees to boxers, I don’t think they can do many shows with good competitive fights.

No U.K. fight nights on Sky in April. Seems a bit crazy and it will be just 4 in the first 5 months of the year.

I still really enjoyed the Clarke/Wardley show.

There are 5 other UK cards on. It's not a good Boxxer card this. Will watch it in between bits of the Queensberry card, Denzel Bentley is fighting on this, always enjoy watching Denzel and seems a good guy too. Paul Butler's got an IBO title fight on a Joe Gallagher card this night too, hoping it's streamed. So should not be too bad an evening. There's a Matchroom DAZN card on in Mexico in the early hours too.

It's horrendous, topped off by a dismal main event, no wonder they're letting BBC Wales have it for free

What are some alternative boxing events happening concurrently with the mentioned card, and are there any particular fighters or matchups that you are looking forward to watching?

It is bad, saw one presser trying to big it up.

I imagine they are contracted to pay Price good money, and are struggling to get the money back.

I don't think any of the undercard fighters are ticket sellers

Add Hughie at fairly late notice, that will do it.

I'd love to know who negotiated her deal and her mates as they win manager of the year by a mile

Surely not? I mean there’s some TV money surely and he’s a half decent name. And the card absolutely stinks so they need something. I mean I know Hughie needs to get on with his career (although I can’t believe he’s 29… he looks more like 49)

Every fight that Fury’s opponent has lost has been by stoppage. It’s almost as if they are saying ‘right we’re sick, Hughie, of every post match interview being about ‘getting the rounds in!’’

They will be paying his opponent good money to get knocked out, would probably need to sell 200 tickets to cover that purse.
Money is tight because Price is earning, and her opponent they will be paying too.
Might even have to pay money out of their own pocket to pay for the hapless opponent.

Wow
I would’ve thought with TV money that would cover it.
Price doesn’t deserve to be paid more that £5k. How much do you think she’s getting?
