Dailymotion

Post by handsofstone »

For anyone who doesn't know Dailymotion is like YouTube, I've used it a bit for years, it's great for getting recent fights that YouTube don't have or have been removed, trouble with DM is the ads, buffering and it's slow, it's a nightmare to use, I hadn't used ot for a couple years, it wasn't worth the bother but just noticed they have an app which i downloaded the other day to see what like, I've watched the 3 title fights on the Fundora/Tszyu card and ive gotta say its been perfect, no ads, no buffering or anything of that crap, could be a game changer for me especially when it comes to PBC fights which are near impossible to find until 12 months when they upload the fights themselves, worth a check out for anyone who struggles to find newer fights

Just get a fire stick

I use torrent sites back in the day to watch fights. Now moved with the times.

I've got a fire stick but apart from DAZN and iview which gives me all my channels and ppvs, I don't know how to use it, the iview is fine if I'm watching live but apart from that it's no good to me

Great call, thanks very much, I’ve used it before to watch fights on replay that I’ve missed. I didn’t realise they had an app - lots of recent HD on there too.

thanks for this Handsofstone, not aware of this. I am going to (get my daughter to) download the app onto my device. Thanks for the suggestion.

the good thing about DM too is it's easier to find fights without a zillon reaction vids/highlights spoiling the results in their titles, much less of that on dm

Using DM now, enjoying it. I am so not tech or digitally knowledgeable I thought it was just boxing but there's everything on there it's really good.

I've tried to get the Dailymotion app on three different devices, only one I can find it through is the Amazon firestick but when I try to download it I get 'app not found' - tried to locate it on Amazon through a web browser too but no luck, doing my nut in  I do use the website for some fights but like you say, even with an adblocker the ads are horrific. Hopefully I'll find a way around it.

It was beyond me so I got my 12 yr old to sort it. I know my limits....
