great shout Joe, would be epic if they could get it on in US or UK too, although understand he's the champ and can fight where he wants.

there were nearly 60,000 people at the tokyo dome, far more epic than anything in the us. us crowds are often boring as sh!t, especially if no mexican involved

Would be great to see the Monster in the UK. Pity the poor sacrificial lamb in front of him though. Shame he wasn't the same weight as Ben Whitakker.

I've been to Japan a bunch of times - mainly business but 3 family holidays: love it there. Have seen sumo and baseball but never boxing.

Might treat myself to the next Inoue fight.

I've been several times as well. Skiing, Rugby World Cup, business. Its an amazing place. Tokyo is wild.

Would love to see a big fight there

Wheres the best places to go there for holiday ,, I've been every where i want to go , now only two places left i want to go thats new zealand , BUT only on a motorbike trip across the country and JAPAN ,, always liked the idea of Japan , wife does'nt want to ggo there , , and now most of my freinds are taking retirement , got there savings and super and starting to holiday abroad , different ones keep asking for us to come , wife keeps nagging we should go and i keep refusing , .
But JAPAN i really could be temprted and talked into it very easy , don't know why , never really met many japanese , i believe its very very expensive , but just holds some fascination for me ,

Definitely Tokyo, its an insane place and not as expensive as you'd think.

Osaka is a very cool place as well. Totally different vibe to Tokyo but great fun

uk has some great crowds tbf, defo among the best in the world for atmospehre. if ball became a champ and inoue came here to fight him, im sure it would be lively environment.

it's the usa that is so blah much of the time. even for many bigger fights you'll often get like only a few thousand people and no fun. just a bunch of rando casino goers casually watching some boxing as part of their stay. either need it to have a mexican involved (they are great fans), a local hero, or just be a massive a+ level star power guy (hardly any are in the us these days) to get much going

I am a bit immune to how good or bad the US market is as I'm never awake to watch it and only tend to see clipped highlights. Good luck to him if he wants to fight in his home country, he's clearly a national hero. I just hope he fights on these shores so we get to see him in the UK.

i mean inoue hasnt even fought at 126 ...................he already climbed several divisions as is to get to 122

The guy’s a phenomenon though, is there any reason to think he won’t walk thru the 126 champions

This time next year he could be fighting at 130

ya true he is a beast, atg fighter already. but moving up 2 divisions above what you've ever fought, when you've already moved up several divisions, to fight an elite p4p guy who has boxed 20 pounds above your highest weight and is much closer in natural size to that division..............they just arent the right sizes for each other. make tank come in at no higher than say 128 and then it gets more interesting, but not sure how realistic that is and if inoue beat him we'd hear weight excusess non stop, and tbh theyd have a point.

fights id look at for inoue:

mj - underperformed badly vs tapales. i think is a better fighter though and has a nice mix of skill and explosivenes
casimero - can punch, and bit of a rivalry with them having previously been scheduled + casimero trash talk
the 126 champs (lopez, espinoza, ford/ball) - new territory, but not a massive stretch. vargas is a champ too, but his style can be so boring, so not as hot on him fighting inoue

unfortunetly, sam goodman was in the ring after inoue beat nery and shook his hand. goodman is solid but very basic and not an interesting option at all.

im still gutted mj lost to tapales and essentially lost out on an inoue fight. he is capable of so much better than that. on his game as just as many tools as anyone at 122 aside from inoue himself
