He relies on his boxing skills, he's in good shape.
Power isn't there but his physical ability to use a boxing ring and the space available too him ... he makes very good use of.
Not the same fighter he once was but he's alright.

It is because Haney was essentially listed as a P4P guy and division #1 off his two Kambo fights, and I don't know why, he was never good. An older, smaller loma dominated the fight more and even stopped Kambo, while Haney went 12 rounds with him, twice. In the process lost some rounds as well.

I thought Loma edged out Haney in a close fight. I don't see how Haney won 7 rounds there, IMO. All of Haney's supporters point to the Kambo fight as a series of big wins. Loma comes in, older and smaller, and does better. This shines a bad light on Haney, to me.

I'm also not saying Haney isn't good, but I never thought he was great or a P4P level. Just another guy with a built up record.

Kambo- Tough, but not good.
Loma- Thought Loma won
Prograis- He looked bad in the couple of fights prior to Haney
Diaz- Lost 4 of 5 since Haney
Linares- Way past it and had Haney hurt on multiple occasions at the end
Gamboa- Shot, Haney still couldn't stop him

Who beats him? Garcia is over weight, Loma already beat the shit out of Haney, Shak is too small/not talented enough and the rest of them don't compare. Well Tank is the only one who has a chance. Also I wouldn't mind a Loma-Zepeda fight!

Yes. It kinda feels like its always been the wrong time for Loma, starting from the Salido fück up... I think Lopez was the only one who really beat Loma, and it was due to the shoulder injury and basically not throwing a single punch in six rounds... And still you could call it a 6-6 fight.
