Mike DeJohn
(one of the hardest punching heavyweight contenders ever).
had appeared on the ABC-TV Saturday Fight of the Week on a regular basis.
here is a listing of some of his television appearences
on that show.
or are they all considered lost ?

It's interesting that Mike DeJohn was a slugger who could bang with both of his hands. I wonder if APerno could research how many reach advantages for Sonny Liston, which was 84 inches against DeJohn like in the tale of the tape from the newspaper that was lost in time or other fights that DeJohn had the long reach advantages after watching lowering his arms? Just asking.

Here is a link to a photo of Sonny Liston fighting Mike DeJohn.
Reportely,DeJohn Buckled Liston's knees with a punch in one of the early rounds,and drew some blood from his nose.
Liston gave DeJohn a right uppercut,when DeJohn was on one knee in the sixth(probably unintentional),
there was an almost mele after the decision,when DeJohn called Liston a name apaprently they took another swing at each other.

must have seen this video some 20 times over the past 30 years.
but just now noticed it.

sure looks like it may be Mike DeJohn there to me.
