I think we’ll get Eubank vs Janibek on PPV late summer.

I agree. Also Majeed has exclusively been dealing with Boxxer in recent years with Okolie, Buatsi, Fraser Clarke now and Eubank.stevec@france wrote: ↑29 Apr 2024, 05:01

That could well end his career. Move up to 168 to fight Simpson after that?maverick23 wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 08:45 I think he’ll work on a fight by fight deal with Sky. His advisor is pretty tight with Shalom.

You are right he brings in huge viewing figures and popularity. He’s clearly a crossover star.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑30 Apr 2024, 17:21 He is possibly the highest earning fighter in relation to ability and achievements of the current UK generation
He’s clearly broken his bridges with the two biggest UK promoters but that won’t matter as I reckon Ben Shalom will happily accommodate his next fight.

He’s not a crossover star. His 2 fights against Liam Smith did c.200k buys a piece. ITV tried PPV off the back of him which didn’t last long.jameswilson wrote: ↑15 May 2024, 11:38You are right he brings in huge viewing figures and popularity. He’s certainly one of the bigger names in the U.K. but he needs a known opponent to be PPV.

I think you're right, very strong possibility re Sky. Ben seems very adept at working with those whom others have fallen out with.jameswilson wrote: ↑15 May 2024, 11:38You are right he brings in huge viewing figures and popularity. I am not defending him, nor his record. But he has been British champion, WBA interim champ and IBO champ. Challenged for the European and WBA titles and made more money than most people who have won a version of the world title. He is far from a bum. Is he elite? No. But he's made millions and navigated a very successful career. He is clearly chasing money. He gets punched for a living, he can fight who he wants when he wants and people are queueing up to fight him.Craighmfc1874 wrote: ↑15 May 2024, 16:37He should stop being a bum fight for world title already.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑15 May 2024, 15:31I think you're right, very strong possibility re Sky. safe fight, would get him IBF ranking, and IBO title if he's not vacated, I can't remember if he wants to fight at MW or SMY though and Oliha is MW. Can you remember or know what he's said re preferred weight?wrighty wrote: ↑15 May 2024, 17:08Should go for Oliha then try and get JanibekSeanBrennan wrote: ↑15 May 2024, 16:44I am not defending him, nor his record.
