USYK Vs. PARKER In October

Post by BIGDOUG58 »

Joseph Parker has to be first defence by Usyk on the back of his wins over Wilder and Zhang.
Andy Lee in his Corner. It would be a Cracker

Really good fight. I guess fury could in theroy step aside for his teammate to have a crack, but I don’t see it happening.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Hrgovic the mandatory to one of the titles that Usyk holds? Wouldn't that have to be Usyk's next fight or he's going to get stripped? Fury can fight Joshua in the meantime.

Hrg has a fight booked with DDD… which makes things weird.

If usyk booked a wbo defence befor that he might get away with it cause he can say “hrg is busy”

But he is undisputed now, so no need to defend belts if he dosent want to.. he is 37 and has a rematch… he will be lucky to have 2 belts at chrismass even if he remains undefeated.

Parker has earned his way back.

Usyk is King of the hill but the next generation is pounding on the door.

I think Parker’s resurgence has been awesome, but Usyk would shut him out

It would make a more exciting division if both fury and usyk retired.
Parker would end up outpointed in a dull fight with usyk

Totally.
I expect Parker to win a few rounds, but the slow starting Uysk might be gone now.
That's the only time guys like Bellew, Del Boy and AJ had success against him.
Andy Lee has worked wonders with Parker- no denial - but there is a giant void between out boxing a plodder like Zhang or a guy who needs to set up like Wilder.

No, but went to a medical center after the fight for a check up. The jaw thing was Fury's team.

Hrgovic by rights should be next up for Usyk, but honestly I would be happy with any of Hrgovic, Parker, or Kabayel. All three of them deserve a shot. Fury does not; especially after he strung the division along for nearly two fornicating years

If Usyk doesn't wind up rematching Fury, and chooses to go forward as Heavyweight Champion without retiring. Then yes there's no current challenger that has earned their shot more than Parker.
