Who is going to pay the price for Furys defeat?

Post by rhino222 »

Personally, I wont be surprised if he ditches Sugar now, He will keep Andy Lee as Andy is 'family'.

He needs to make sure his dad never goes anywhere near his corner ever again, in fact, the moron needs to stay back in UK.

And if he ditches Sugar. Who will train him. Will it be just Lee or will we see another face in camp.

Sugar should show some pride and WALK , i had s brothers i started training them when they were kids , , took all 3 through the ameteurs right through to pro , , spent more time with them than my own kids , got a call one day from a promoter he asked who do i deal with , regards them i said me why , we had discussed a show coming up he was doing and decided on purses opponents ect . . He said there dad has been on the phone and accepted a fight i had refused , , i was not gonna give the weight and experience away to the home boy , the dad got on the phone thinking his son was better than he was , .

That night all 3 were shown the door , the father was told first of all there men , they put there life in my hands , not yours , you want to make the discisions YOU TRAIN THEM , , needless to say they were dirty on him and put him in his place , he kept his nose out after that , but make no mistake there should only be ONE CAPTAIN of the ship .

In my case they stayed , in this case i think sugar would have to walk , but you need some profesional pride .

John's getting quite a lot of criticism for his over vocal role in the corner and giving off duff info and tactics, overruling the main coaches. Perhaps he should apologise to Tyson and to all the Fury fans for doing that. Is he man enough to do so?

It'll probably be Sugar that gets the dunt. John's been gunning for him ever since he told the truth about being in the UK to train Okolie when Tyson tried to pretend he was there to train him for Usyk.

Fury himself made the main mistakes. First, he wasn't serious enough at the start. Secondly, he took a pause after having huge success in the 6th or what round it was. He should be more active after hurting Usyk.

If Tyson listens to Sugar hill or realises John is the problem then it's John who goes. If he listens to his old man, which is more likely, then sugar hill will go.

He should go with Freddy Roach, would be good to see a more aggressive Fury. He practically ran away from a man much smaller than him for the entire fight.

Tyson is naturally inclined to be on his heels I think, he likes the space to work.

Nah, Tyson is annoyed by his father, and the Saudis are sick of him, even though he loves their culture (given Tysons old comments on homosexuality, the end of the world and other social issues that's not surprising John is a far right fanatic who identifies with Islamic extremists.. Or Irish drug dealers who hate immigrants, hard to keep up with the scum they be in bed with)

But John in control??? Oh somehow I think not, I think Johns gonna get the liability OBE

I'm all for a completely new trainer.
Tyson has learned from everyone he has been with, and if he goes forward with the rematch he needs to show Uysk something new.

Really alls i think he has to do is have a good look at Ysyks last few , and say Mmmmm who has had success against Usyk , who and what has hurt or slowed Usyk , and its obvious even himself DONE IT , its pressure and bodyt shots , IF Usyk has any faults its he complains a lot and usually about body shots and rough stuff .

So the formula is simple , WHY WHY WHY , try to outbox a smaller faster guy who is a FAR SUPERIOR BOXER , for wnat of better words , just get out there and smash him , he has his strenghts , skill ,speed , and boxing nounce , Fury has got his own , long arms , reasonable footwork and SIZE and strenght use them , go for the kill take the chance , because the more you fight Usyk and the more you try to box him the more he will win .

Next one take a chance , put on some weight , and GO FOR IT . but above all STAY IN THE GYM forget the camp with conditioners rubbish get back to old fashioned basics , get in the gym , hit the bag , hit the pads and spar , get rid of the arse lickers , conditioners , diatiscens , and the whole lot , he knows what to do , get used to 12 rnds at a hard pace , and thats the conditioning needed , and that takes time not a 3 month camp where you spend 8 weeks losing weight with a dietiscen , lose the weight before IN THE GYM , and get rid of his idiot father and all the idiotic mind games that don't work with this guy , become what he is THE consumate proffesional

Well really if we go with the common belief that the Saudis are sports washing , and the whole motive is to try look good , if thats true i would'nt be suprised if Tysons Manager was brought in and given the hard word , along the lines of were spending colosal amounts of money and this IDIOT is ruining the good faith were trying to bring ,LEAVE HIM AT HOME .

Course thats only me saying that but i hope it happens , then again we are talking about Saudis here , and if its all true they don't mind a good execution , jailing an innocent person, or occasionaly from all accounts the odd assasination , , maybee to them taking a cheap headbut to an innocent guy half your size for no reason , is just the equivelent of a tickling comp

As the trainer should Sugar Hill have put his foot down and not allowed John Fury in the corner, or even the camp

I think it was going into the 11th round, someone in Fury's corner told him he was up on the cards. There was a video going around but i can't find it, does anyone have a link?

I'm sure i heard Andy Lee's voice speaking those words, but would like to see it again to be sure.

Either way, whoever gave Fury that advice may have played a vital role in his loss, and should not be allowed in his corner again.

Yes. But it’s hard to turn down $1 million.

Exactly.

Fury himself should take part of the blame, he has been in the game long enough to know his Dad should not be in the corner screaming over his trainer. He himself should have taken measures pre-fight to avoid any chance of that sort of shambles from ever occuring.
