Boxing Mysteries-whatever happened to Floyd Patterson's Championship "Gold Crown" ?

was reading in a book the other day, that just after Floyd Patterson had historically regained the HW Championship
in 1959, Cus D'Amato had specially made for him a
three -pound Gold Crown,
studded with assorted diamonds, rubies, sapphires and cultured pearls
(1959 value 35 thousand dollars)
the crown was being kept at his brother Raymond's house.
However in 1965, some person broke in and stole the gold crown
( it was not insured).
Does anyone know what may have became of it ?

Professor Jones, expert on the occult and obtainer of rare antiquities has been searching for this mysterious artifact since the early 1980s.
He did some of the first serious work on the Gold Crown. It was an obessession really. To date he has not found the fabled crown.

Mike Tyson mentions it in his 2017 book IRON AMBITION.
he said that Cus D'Amato use to show him photographs of it.
It was presented to Patterson at a testimonoal dinner July.21.1960
and discribed as being
of "
14-karat gold, studded with
174 diamonds,
248 rubies and sapphires,
and 250 pearls,
with nine crests and on the highest one a golden globe.
on the highest crest were jewel studded boxing gloves
also with a band of ermine for proper fitting.
In 1980 Cus D'Amato claimed it was worth at least 250,000 dollars.

If I remember correctly a Frenchman named Belloq was rumoured to have stolen it.

I'm not exactly "Sam Spade" or even Phillipe Marlow", but I think I may have come up with a possible suspect.
(and whom may have had reason to be in Raymond Patterson's home at the time the crown went missing.)

According to Floyd Patterson, Billy had always seemed jealous and resentful toward Floyd while growing up,
for some reason.
( he even punched Floyd as hard as possible when Floyd first went to a gym with him to box as a yoot.)
