Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Zhilei Zhang | PPV - 1 June 2024
Re: Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Zhilei Zhang | PPV - 1 June 2024
For a fleeting moment it looked so good for Ammo when he landed that crisp straight left in the second round, but this pressure approach since is surely a hiding to nothing.
Sheeraz is never flustered.

Really? Did he win something?keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑01 Jun 2024, 17:39He was an excellent amateur. Sheeraz's style is bringing out the worst in him IMO.

Classical example of what happens when two fighters with similar attributes (skills, power, chin etc.) meet but one is taller and more rangey. Feeling a bit sorry for Williams as he’s doing his best but hitting the wall.

ammo has a very long reach for the weight, sheeraz has a much better jab though

Sheeraz is clearly more skillful. This is not about height.TempleSlave wrote: ↑01 Jun 2024, 17:42 Classical example of what happens when two fighters with similar attributes (skills, power, chin etc.) meet but one is taller and more rangey. Williams has too much heart for a boxer that unskilled. I actually feel bad for him.

Good win. This team stuff is embarrassing.

Sheeraz needs a killer instinct, he could've got stoppage much earlier

Hamzah might just be the biggest weight bully in boxing. Should have no business at middleweight.

Sheeraz stepped it up at last - great performance. Ammo showed a lot of heart, unfortunately, skills trump will.

I think it was a good call. Williams' punch resistance was gone.

That was my initial reaction and the ref himself looked like he was hesitating, but on watching the replay I’m ok with it

Debatable. He's okay but here he only demonstrated that he’s skilled at utilising his physical attributes. Or it’s a favourable style matchup. Anyway, he won. I think a top fighter will expose him.lazboy wrote: ↑01 Jun 2024, 17:44Sheeraz is clearly more skillful.
