15,000 guaranteed, apparently. They must be happy or they wouldn't keep doing it. They announced Barnsley yesterday at the football stadium, too.

interesting the odds and picks are so lopsided toward big rick. their first fight was super close (a very questionable kd call made the difference) and billam smith's had the better run since them. the win over okolie was ugly but effectivee. ppl really unimpessed with the lasting showing, fair enough

cbs is younger than rick. you think one is clean and the other dirty if im reading it right?
well if riakporhe is boinking madonna now then he probably is dirty isnt he
Re: Chris Billam-Smith vs. Richard Riakporhe II | Sky Sports - 15 June 2024
I think there’s a lot of suspicion around Riakporhe due to his long absence from fighting & the Dillian Whyte connection. If he did pop positive at any point I don’t think there would be much surprisemargaret thatcher wrote: ↑14 Jun 2024, 03:12cbs is younger than rick. you think one is clean and the other dirty if im reading it right?

Re: Chris Billam-Smith vs. Richard Riakporhe II | Sky Sports - 15 June 2024
It’s a tricky one to predict because for me the two most likely outcomes are Riakporhe by stoppage & CBS on points so you can look a bit silly if you back CBS on points & Riakporhe stops him early.
Having said that I’m going CBS on points.
I just don’t trust Riakporhe, he’s 34, he’s inactive, he’s huge for the weight & we’ve no idea if he can still do the weight well as he’s not had a competitive fight for years. I don’t think he throws enough either so I can see a scenario where he spends too long looking for the perfect shot & rounds slip away from him.
Of course it’ll be dangerous early for CBS & he might get buzzed and / or dropped but if he can get to the second half of the fight I think he’ll take over & win a closish but still clear points decision.

Totally agree. I think CBS will snatch victory from seemingly the jaws of defeat. May even have to get off the canvas to do it.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑14 Jun 2024, 03:08 interesting the odds and picks are so lopsided toward big rick. their first fight was super close (a very questionable kd call made the difference) and billam smith's had the better run since them. the win over okolie was ugly but effectivee. ppl really unimpessed with the lasting showing, fair enough

I just can't get past the fact that he's 34 and hasn't fought anyone who was anywhere near world class at the time. Breidis is a proven world level operator. Hopefully we find out.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑13 Jun 2024, 17:46I am making no predictions but if Breidis can have his jaw hanging on, Richard definitely can hurt him with his size. I think Richard can at least accomplish himself well at the highest level.rd350lc wrote: ↑13 Jun 2024, 17:38You have him beating Opetia?SeanBrennan wrote: ↑13 Jun 2024, 17:35 I think Riakpohre stops CBS, I think Riakpohre will take over this division, he's had time out with Dillian fallout but is really good.

Looking forward to this card. I think Whittaker is going to stop the opponent quickly, does seem to be some real needle there now however ersatz it was in the beginning. And good to see Dan Azeez back in the ring, such a likeable fella.

Anyone know times and running order, and is there a YouTube channel for early fights?

At the pub, going to head home to watch the fights, who is on at the moment?
Re: Round-by-Round: Chris Billam-Smith vs. Richard Riakporhe II | Sky Sports - 15 June 2024
Just watched the Pachetty v Vermeire fight, I follow Vermeire on FB/Insta, he has an interesting backstory, he had no boxing experience till fairly recently and was vastly overweight but had a crazy idea of becoming a pro fighter so he lost about 12 stone had a couple of white collars, a couple of amateurs and then turn over and is now learning the hard way on the job!

Thanks for the tip off Ruthless, I've got Sky Sports, but I've just earned some brownie points with the father-in-law.

Hi Forum, I've had a nap (new sleep mask for my CPAP machine as other wasn't working so catching up on sleep!) so missed first 40 mins, what was first fight before Azeez. Any good? And how's this one been so far? Many thanks in advance
