How about Buatsi , winner of that fights winner of Beter v Bivol
I think team Benavidez needs to have a heart to heart. They definitely want to win the Canelo lottery. I don’t think they want to make a move until that is determined.
It seems that Canelo wants no part of Bena

I think the only thing that could change that is if Bena goes back to 168 and gives a substandard performance that could be attributed to struggling to make the weight.
I think they might take it, sucking him back down.

Martin’s guard looks awkward and weak - tank should smash through that with a left hook.

Martin really fought well but Tank cut the ring off and Martin stayed in the corner too long. Just like that.

Martin is no stiff. He landed some big shots. He out boxed Tank but the Tank caught him and blasted him out.

If Lomassiah gets caught with that left he may never get up. Seriously.

Tank fighting like a young Iron Mike Tyson. That pressure was just to much for Martin and he couldn't shake Tank off.

That a was devastating finish.

Lethal finish

Needs to fight someone with the pop to deter him just walking forward not worried about what’s coming back.

Does Shakur hit hard enough to keep him off

I agree.

A dream fight would be Tank v Inoue, I wonder how high Inoue could go and still carry his power.

I think it was too much of a jump in weight for him. IMHO
He was just fighting one of the best at the weight class who was just unfortunate to get under Beterbiev truck too early.

Gvozdyk is an Olympic medalist and has a KO win against Stevenson on his resume.

Martin was really fighting well but you could see how well Tank was cutting off the ring and it was almost inevitable due to that pressure and that monster left hand.

Damned fine win for Benavidez, as well as a damned good performance by Gvozdyk, but let’s be honest, Gvozdyk after the long layoff and three can 2023 is not Beterbiev or Bivol. Benavidez best path is to go back and fight Canelo and wait out the Russians. He can’t beat them at this moment. They are both too big, strong, gifted, and skilled at this point. Maybe in two years.
