Just one note this week, gents.
By sheer coincidence we have an Undisputed fight this week just through the natural rotation of the bouts...
Good luck to both fighters.

Has Bob Fitzsimmons fought Michael Moorer yet this season? If not let's make that happen if Moorer's manager is willing of course.

Johnson is open to offers as, bar Archie Moore, and Michael Spinks I think he has faced every other players fighters.....

Wouldn't mind a shot at the IBO belt and Foster but that can be decided by the powers that be......otherwise, whoever wants it, can, as we say in the UK, 'have it'.

I see Johnson is interested in an IBO shot, and we can hopefully get to that if Bob keeps winning.

This week however, Bob wants to offer a shot to a dangerous, forgotten man since the MDT, Joe Knight. Maybe one of the best unmanaged fighters ever in the Sim. Let's see if he can gain some more gold this season or if Foster keeps rolling.

If Knight was to win, since being unmanaged, Shuffleshits will take over the helm to ride out the rest of his season, as long as he maintains the strap.

Is it just happenstance that Moore has not had a shot at either set of titles to this point?

Sort of like a dime landing on it's side here?

Seems so unlikely. Is it literally just the throw of the dice? Seems so unlikely.

I do like the strange and unusual...so I'm not griping.....just wanting it confirmed before I run the title fights.

Sure...so what's up with Archie missing these chances? Was that by design or intent? Or just the way the ball bounced? I thnk there was a formula going in....so we just followed the formula...and this is how it played out?

Out of the available fighters, I think its only Spinks (and Moore) from the player roster who have yet to face Johnson.

Wouldn't mind Spinks, Kevo, if you agree,

Otherwise, anyone else?

Yeah, it really is the way that the ball bounced. But in the interest of transparency, i'll be fully honest with you - going into the tournament, the no 1 fighter's route through it looked like this:
1st week - fights no 6
2nd week fights no 5
3rd week fights no 4
4th week fights no 3
5th week fights no 2

Then Ezzard (as the number 2 fighter had his schedule filled in)....
Then after that it's only a matter of filling the gaps with the third fighter.

I love it when the cards play out so absurdly. It's entirely possible that the fighter with the most performance points could end up with very few weeks holding a title. And perhaps at the end not holding one. I'm not trying to jinx anything...but it's fascinating. Cookies crumble oddly, and balls bounce erratically at times.

Indeed, it' entirely a random event. Maybe the no 3 fighter has a belt and was fighting the no 5 fighter, who hes loses to..
Then the next week the belt is on the line against no 4 and he loses...
It's just the schedule, isn't it?

Has Kevo abandoned us? I hope not....though I understand with no more titles to aspire to, it can get less interesting I suppose.
