Reckon Fisher will be too big and hit too hard, Babic has one of the worst defenses in boxing, he only fights one way and he'll get dusted at some point I'm sure, he'll put it on Fisher though however long it lasts, I like the fight I'll be honest
If Fisher comes out punching and tries to end it early it’s all over in the first round. Babic’s chin is suspect and whatever limitations Fisher has, he can punch and is a solid heavyweight. Babic has been kod in a round by a part time ageing fighter like Rozanski.

This, and I think Fisher will win early, there are prob gym rumours about Babic needing the money too etc.
But Fisher has barely taken a punch in anger yet, is defensively no Pernel Whittiker and you would imagine that Babic will go for it too.
This is a different story to anything Fisher has faced. He's not exactly Muhammad Ali off the backfoot. I see Babic marauding his way forward into clinches here and making it scrappy. I don't think Fisher has much at all if I'm being honest. A career full of cans so far. Rozanski would have polaxed him like he did Babic for me. I give Babic a strong chance here. Fisher has had everything his own way and he might be taking some punches and getting bullied a bit here. What's his temperament like when the going gets tough? Call me crazy but I have Babic the favourite in this.
That is crazy. Babic has no chance in this and Fisher will look good with a highlight reel KO early on. It's a great match for Fisher as he builds experience but Babic is heading for a hiding. That's why he's there.
fisher hasnt fought anyone with a pulse offensively. his biggest previous fight may have been vs harry armstrong and harry has 0 stoppages. fish is not someone who has a track record of dealing with a bunch of tough opponents in the ams either. he hasnt even beaten a washed up guy who used to be decent. he's very green with lots of question marks and we are rating him on can crushing pretty much.
babic is obviously crude as hell and has been hurt by guys who dont really crack. no doubt that fish hits much harder than the frenchman who rocked him for example. he usually takes shots as he works his way in and fisher i think will prob ko him early. but i wouldnt say it's an asbolute dead cert lock. babic has a lot more fire power than anyone fisher has been in with yet and there's so much we dont know about how johnny reacts

I just think Babic is the one with the better head movement and throwing punches off it coming forward. Johnny is going to be operating off the backfoot here and hes quite upright if he decides to fight fire with fire. I haven't seen any decent counterpunching skills either. Look I know Babic is crude but he is what he is and he's used to these fights. I don't have confidence in FIsher maintaining a distance or countering Babic coming in. Not saying he can't do it. Obviously pushing Babic onto the backfoot would completely negate Babic but Babic is going to have to be battered onto the backfoot and he'll be throwing overhands and left hooks at Fisher if Fisher stands his ground. It's heavyweight here and anything can happen. I'm not mad about Babic either but I've put 300 quid on him to win this. Pays your money and takes your choice as they say. If Johnny steamrolls him then I'll eat it but the price is insane at the moment with these kinds of question marks.

Good post. I suppose the thing is that Fisher might just beat him in a battle of chins in a firefight anyway as hes the bigger man. I need to see him do it first though. Babic is a horrible style for an inexperienced guy if that guy starts to struggle in there.
At the moment I see a wear down style of win for Babic. A fight full of scrappy clinching and punching.
I think Fisher maybe too big for Babic who isn't really a natural HW and could probably make CW without any trouble. I reckon Fisher will stop him in 5
I think Fisher wins battle of the chins.
And that may be the thing that wins it for him.
But as Mags has said, Fisher has had no one really put it on him, and Babic will really put it on him early at least.
The Cabbage ridiculed a few things Fisher was saying today one being about how it won't be a good idea to be right in front of Fisher. Babic was saying essentially 'duhhh yeah I've never seen an uppercut.'
I think this will be one of those funny meme videos that get put up after the fight where Babic gets poleaxed by an uppercut while windmilling in like a pissed football thug and then his comments are played back afterwards with amusing music in the background.
One difficulty about fighting Babic is that he's wild, proper unorthodox, when you fight more well schooled guys, even if they are very fast and strong, they are quite predictable, and you know when to tense yourself.
Fisher isn't very skilled and the whole comedy act with him and his dad is getting annoying now, doesn't really suit someone who wants to go far in the sport and build a serious name.
