This is a great matchup.

Besides the great Billy Conn, Floyd Patterson might be the fastest puncher that the great Joe Louis would have had.

I see a couple of knockdowns by either side. But, at the seventh round, I got to go with The Brown Bomber by knockout.

Just a matter of how many rounds it would take Louis. Louis was a very accurate puncher with a lot of power. Patterson's chin would not hold up. Certainly, would not go the distance. Patterson might land something to hurt Louis to make it interesting. However, if Louis lands something big early, it's over.

I'd have Patterson up on the cards before Louis knocks him out between 6-10

Basically, gotta agree with the majority, Louis is more preferrable. Patterson can also be seen as a winner though, if he managed to catch Louis in the earlier rounds. A puncher's chance for the explosive Patterson was real. Anyway, most likely Louis would win.
