Great from fisher. poor from babic.

English title next makes sense in england, needs to snaffle that befor moses, cause moses is too scary for an english.

Lots of Australians around the right levle if he wants to go there.

would like to see shwarz or Wallin too. (saudi card?)...

Would of loved fisher vs chisora right now, but probably has to beat joyce to be viable, and if he does then he might be too scary still.,

Goodal is a realllly good fight if they arnt scared of him. bigg step up, but great fight. lots of upside too if you stop him... do it better than huni say, or even do it better than efe... but its a huge step up. Shaw and opelu would be step ups, guys who goodal stopped... To me goodal feels like the fight, but breaking it down it might be skipping a step.

Fabio still holds the British title as far as I know. You think Fisher is up to that, which is also the level of The Eraser as well

If I'm guiding Johnny Fisher, it would be Dave Allen (after Dave has a very carefully selected tune up that he wins by spectacular knock out.)

I dont think he is there yet. I think he would be a live underdog in either of those fights now, but yea, not quite there yet.

personaly i thnink that rematch is needed for the brittish anyway, so i would hope that goes ahead, likely a war again... so if they rematch octoberish... then they wont wanna defend again till marchish 2025, by which time i think johny will be ready... (or he will at least of taken the fights that let him know if he is ready or not)... could be a good time to get em too, after potentialy 2 taxing fights. fisher would still be coming in an underdog(unless he chins adeley in a round or somthing), but a reasonable underdog to take the gamble for the brittish.

If you put 300 on Babic you're either a millionaire or have a serious gambling problem. Madness someone on what can be considered a serious boxing board has such a wild take on the abilities of certain boxers. Do yourself a favour and don't try and recoup your losses by piling a wad on avenaseyan
It's Johnny Fisher mate. His win condition was probably what happened, a KO1. Babic looked to have lost his aggression and ferocity which was pretty much the only thing he had going for him and if he was going to stand at range and not get inside asap then he was a sitting duck. He needed to be on Fishers chest. Pascal Collins should have been drilling him to watch out for the right hand at range and then get inside asap. He is in the losing corner more often than the winning corner for good reason. I'll make money when Fisher gets upset which will happen sooner rather than later depending on how carefully they match him. Babic is done. He was showing a lack of confidence in some interviews but i just thought the chap has one way to fight and has to just go for it. If he's going to fight with that kind of timidity then anyone can just sit down on a combination and wack him out of there. He's already undersized. Should be using that to get inside or at least attempt to.

Let's be honest here, that was terrible from Babic. No one expected the sweet science, but we did expect aggression and ferocity.
And unfortunately this turned out not to be a learning fight for Fisher.
Shame that.

Babic might've been allowed to continue if he'd taken a few more seconds to rise. Probably straight into his final count, sure, but he wasn't boots-up after he'd sank one shy of the full Phil Collins. At cruiser.

Not saying Fisher doesn't hit hard enough, but he obviously needs moving on before stoppages become expectations. Hughie next for me, cos they both need a springboard.

ya defo could do with some rounds. good puncher, we knew that already. but the other side needs to develop too as you move up the levels

an lower profile fight vs one the super durable but almost guaranteed to lose guys like 2024 wach or dovo could help, but not sure how feasible that is anymore with fish's popularity.

kuzmin, mckean, goodall, myronets..................knowing that he's probably still gonna be moved cautiously due to a lack of experience, this is the level id like him to get to this year. guys like jonnie rice and kingsley ibeh could be beneficial in his development too.

Was gonna mention Kuzmin, but inactive and what's his PED situ? Gassiev's a bit of a leftfield choice. Technical, but smaller.

I think you can still get away with fisher in with tough journymen/gatekeepers. just have to be transparent about why (rounds) and quick turn arounds when you do. and its gotta be undercard. hence why i think fish vs dovb on the cat under card works....

I also think fishers ticket selling machine would have to accept only the core crew are coming to a fight like that. which is fine, the romford bull army cant travle around 3000+ deep 5 times a year...

Alternating between learning fights on undercards doing a few hundred tickets, and showcase fights as mainevent doing a few thousand tickets is probably the way foward here for fisher. (few guys like dave allen can probably tick both boxes at once)...

Love to see Fisher in with either Sonny Conto or Richard Torrez Jr.
I'd be betting against him in both.

The Rozanski mauling took his soul. And he'd been wobbled by a fair few of the cans he eventually beat too. put him in the movies.

Torrez is an Olympic Silver medalist with very heavy hands. Fisher doesn't want to be anywhere near that.

Bellotti put in a hard shift against Giles to get the W, workrate seeing him through, he never hurt Giles or looked like breaking him down but was busy and persistent, Giles tucked up well, had the earmuffs on and blocked and parried a lot of Bellotti's work but wasn't busy enough to win many rounds, he was dangerous when letting go though especially with the left hook and he even hurt Bellotti in the last round but couldn't find the breakthrough, a decent tussle and deserved victory for Bellotti

Nah not really but Giles did steady him a clip of times and rocked him in the last round, Giles just not busy enough

Even easier for Fisher than I thought, 30 seconds in and Babic was done, 3 consecutive rights then a left/right had Babic down then up like a newborn giraffe, legs like jelly, total mismatch, Babic needs to either mover down to cruiser or retire, Fisher train rolls on, his support is incredible, long may it continue
