He would be one of the least deserving of Canelo's champion career.
No belt, no winning streak, and about 4 years past prime.
I agree, but I'd definitely watch it.
Too right

annihilation springs to mind,

last one I think he'd beat is Matthew Hatton
Matthew Hatton beats Nigel Benn every day of the week and twice on a Sunday!
Nigel? No chance. Ever. That's just stupid.
Ha! Sorry! Matthew Hatton beats CONNOR!

Will watch if it comes off. Would much rather it was benavidez instead but until his excellency takes an interest in canelo it won’t be happening

Are Canelo's purse demands not the major obstacle to the fight being made?

If this happened in the UK, who'd promote it?

no sorry needed I shouldn't be calling anyone stupid anyway. I did think "blimey Frostie's a massive Matthew fan. Which is laudable but a bit bonkers prediction!"

Less money but Janibek is more winnable. He should target that as it would help his legacy. British champion, wba interim, IBO x 2 and wba and IBF champion would be really good going. I happen to like Chris but fornicating about with Dan Bilzarian and waiting for Canelo isn't helping him. He could have thought Oliha and got a shot at Janibek by now and kept himself in the public consciousness.
