read an article in this week's Boxing News saying he's carrying an injury. Hope it's not too serious.

I've put a few quid on him to win gold. Looked good in the commonwealth finals live, although the top boys are a different proposition to Sagar Alawat who was quite green. He's very athletic

Thats that then.

Turn pro now and learn the trade the hard way.

I think some guys turn up expecting to get the win. It was a close fight but he got hit a few times.

just seen that I thought he was really young (not that 27 is old but you know what I mean).

did'nt see this one , but i seen a few of the others and there seems to be a few big boys in there who can actually box quite well, thought the yank got stooged a bit and the frenchmen had some home cooking going on, Not seen any big stanouts , although the Aussie looked very strong , ABit it was against a smaller guy ,m see how he goes with some of the bigger lads

Is he going to get offered anything financially sweet enough to go professional now?

If he does decide to go pro, would he be able to keep the Team GB training set up like Lauren Price apparently did?

Despite that massive disappointment, they’ll be falling over themselves to sign him up. Big heavyweight prospect with a personality to match spells potential millions.

Judging by Dev’s reaction on here, I take it Eddie has signed him up, cause Frank would love the chance no doubt about it

Does he fight the wrong way round? I.e is he really a southpaw who fights orthodox? His backhand looked weird, sort of thrown across his body, whilst his jab looked ram rod.

Looked weird anyway. Wasnt impressed, thought the other guy won.

Agreed, he doesn't look good but seems to look to fight a defensive type of moving fight which is probably the best thing he can do although the stamina and chin boxes need to be ticked. At least hes not as wooden as someone like David Price always looked.

not a fan of his style and dont really see him as a major talent as in cant miss world class, but he's got skill and being a 6'6 super heavy olympian named delicious, with a great smile, im sure he'll get some decent offers. if he goes pro would like to see him sit down a bit more

pat brown i enjoy his no nonsense style and he looks a very strong guy with compact punching, but might be caught between weights. his boxrec page says he's 6'6 but that's an obvious error and he's dwarfed in pics with orie.

richardson looks very much like an amateur stylist. quick arm punches, upright. not sure id back him for a big pro career and he's what 28 already

I think he'll be well suited to the pros, but needs to work hard on his defence.

Perhaps sign with FW as he'll build him steadily
