The Fantasy Match Chain Game

Post by keithmoonhangover »

Here's the format.

* You predict the winner of the previous matchup and explain why, then choose an opponent from history to face your winner.

* Select which version of each fighter we are looking at and put that in brackets as an example, Ali (George Foreman) vs Lennox Lewis (Razor Ruddock)

* You can change the weight class as long as both fighters in your matchup fought in that division. As an example, I choose Naseem Hamed (Kevin Kelley) vs Henry Armstrong (Petey Sarron) at 123, you could choose Armstrong to win and then match him against Wilfred Benitez (Ray Leonard) at 147.

Now I've got that our of the way, I'll start us off with....

Michael Nunn (Tate) vs GGG (Canelo I)

Picking GGG to win a decision in a competitive fight. Nunn was better than many people realize.

GGG (Canelo I) vs Emile Griffith (Benvenuti III)

Should that not be "Benvenuti II" for Griffith? That was his best night.

It doesn't have to be their best night.

I'd once again favor Golovkin this matchup, and then I'd match him up against Hagler (Mugabi)
