But they both failed a testosterone test recently. That would have got any other female competitor banned for at least two years. It's just not fair.

sure, not saying it is fair, and bio men defo shouldnt compete vs bio women. but this whole hysterical narrative about them being some monster with a reign of terror seems to taken over when they'd stopped 4 women in like 50 bouts prior and also lost several fights. they boxed women for years and no one gave a sh!t or thought they were all that destructive. for the italian to have retired in 40 seconds and then cry over it is just soft stuff whether they are a man or woman. it's like they had no intention to try and win and were set on just going to the media to play victim

the one mexican saying that the algerian hits harder than any man shes been in with - LOL. they have 5 stoppages in 47 recorded bouts against women, please, must be sparring with some major pillow hands then

Trans fellas fighting women is a different thing

If you are born with a fanny but have the luck to have different chromosomes, you are still a woman

There was that swimmer, Ian Thorpe who had unnaturally big feet, should he have been disqualified for having feet like flippers?

The Algerian is experienced, boxed for years, never been a puncher.
The Italian is a quitter and probably looking for more followers on Instagram

But you would expect a male, or female boxer who failed a testosterone test to receive a ban eh?
That was my point. Why did they get a gimme to the Olympics?

Hmm interesting one. I’m guessing if Khelif gets soundly outpointed by her next opponent then this story will fade away pretty quick. Leaving Carini looking a tad over dramatic.

Yep, exactly that. Biological men have no place in facing biological women in professional sports, especially contact or combat sports, but this is not one of those scenarios. It's a biological woman with a disorder which gives her a natural advantage, not an unnatural one which would be cheating.

There is definitely a conversation to be had, regarding this, but it's not the one people are having.

Agreed. A major problem is the weirdo who bought twitter and turned it into a bigoted cesspit. The Americans had a civil war about 160 years ago which was all about bigoted scumbags wanting to enforce slavery and ordinary people not having it. It looks like we are on course for another one and again it is the bigoted scumbags with all their misinformation and weirdness trying to enforce bigotry onto the population and there will reach a point where it will be met with a harsh response again once they go too far which will inevitably happen. All these little miscreants doing their dirty work will deserve to have no quarter given and no mercy shown for their targeting of innocent people with their misinformation and scumbaggery.
"Khelif was one of two boxers in the women's draw in Paris after previously failing testosterone level tests. However, the IOC defended the decision to let both her and Taiwanese athlete Lin Yu‑ting to take part. “Obviously I am not going to comment on individuals,” the IOC spokesperson Mark Adams said.

Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni has said: “I have been trying to explain for years that, when taken to the extreme, some theses risk impacting women’s rights. I think that athletes who have male genetic characteristics should not be admitted to women’s competitions. Not because we want to discriminate against anyone, but in order to protect the right of female athletes to be able to compete on equal terms”

You're a moron. Quoting Meloni says it all. Scumbag. The testosterone thing is wrong too, the IBA came out and said there was no testosterone test but Im guessing you don't care about that. The Italian went into the fight mentally beaten before the opening bell and the pr*cks going on about trans sh*t are delighted at seeing her crying and in distress. They don't give a flying f*ck about her, they only care about bashing trans people when there is no trans person to bash here. Fk off back to twitter.

:TU: The article was wrong. I read another that also said the same things. Then I did a search regarding the IBA and got what you have said.
It's unnecessary to call me a moron, you could have just said check with the IBA- and I did.
Can I help it if two major news organisations were reporting what I quoted? It is sad in this day and age that very little can be trusted, but we don't need to abuse each other because of it do we?

Mmmm , hard one is'nt it , I am in the majority just read shit and react accordingly , I know I know were morons , , So at first i just read it and took it that these two were mencompeting has women , and transgender , now not knowing too much or really caring about that side of the population i summised it was a pair of fella's who had there bollocks and knob cut of and wanted to be a woman , or worse still they never actually had the chop so they were definetly men ,

Then i come on here and read about this intersex thing , too be honest i'd never heard of it , i don't know any, don't read about or follow these things , so i learnt and looked it up , now people are saying there actually women but have high terestone and other stuff , it gets confusing so for me its quite simple .

If they are born with a womb , and womb being the important one not dick or fanny but the ability to have a baby , and if they bleed once a month there a WOMAN if there not there a man , now if they happen to be a woman with an unaturally high level of terostone or whatever , there lucky just like other men were born naturally stronger than me and win weight lifting gold , some are lucky some are not .

Now i could argue that just about ALL these women boxers look like men so should all be banned , just based on the fact they look like men want to fight like men and are not very feminine so really there all like men and should all be banned , BUT i won't because i know thats silly .

What i will say though is , we need to use all this contreversy to our advantage , and say until its sorted out whats a woman and whats not, ALL WOMENS BOXING SHOULD BE BANNED , after all , these are your next main support fights on the Eddie Hearn shows , so get rid now ,

we want to watch women fight , introduce jello wrestling , in skimpy bikinis only , i have my own way of dealing with it ,

I JUST DON'T WATCH THE SHITE

"bigoted scumbags wanting to enforce slavery". does it need pointing out that you choose to follow a sport where the events and participants are sponsored by sportswear companies that very literally procure slaves from the chinese government? next time you feel like climbing up on your little rocking horse to have a self-important rant, claiming that good guys like yourself are "not having it", try to remember that, yes, you are, you are absolutely "having it", just like we all are. might want to think about that.

defo born male shouldnt compete with bio female, but intersex athletes in womens sports is a tricky issue tbf

on the one hand, many intersex people themselves have no idea theyre intersex, at least until later in life. its not usually people dishonestly hiding their sex or dudes who suddenly switch to womens sports to win more. likely khelifa was raised as a female their whole life. they will have characterstics that men dont have as well. sounds like the iba went about banning them in a very questionable way with little process.

on the other hand, due to being intersex they are basically getting loads of performance enhacers pumped into them, but you can argue its a natural benefit they have because of their condition.

that said, the hysteria about khelifa specifically is way overblown, talk about them hitting harder than all the dudes LOL. they had 4 stops over women in like 50 fights before the italnian pulled a laughable quit job. imagine you make it to the olympics only to settle on quitting in 40 seconds so you can cry to the media.

Not only has Imane Khelif had very few stoppage wins they have also been beaten at least nine times so it's not like they are head and shoulders above the competition.

TheLeprechaun has been angry ever since he very publicly whacked £300 on Babic to beat Fisher.

Go and have a cup of tea mate and stop inventing battles to fight.

As for Olympic boxing, I haven't watched any live fir the first time ever. The BBC don't have it and I suspect it will have the lowest viewing numbers in the UK in its history, which sponsors won't be happy about let alone the athletes

I actually feel sorry for all involved, the Boxing/Olympic suits should've protected both fighters, if what's being said is true and that she's born a female but has male chromosomes etc then she still shouldn't be allowed to fight a regular female, a compromise has to be made, don't get me wrong I reckon the Italian has seen a window of opportunity and took it, I doubt she felt incredible man strength in the 45 seconds it lasted

That poor Algerian has been getting crucified on social media, it's one thing for us knuckleheads to get our 2 bob in, who the fckn takes notice of anything we say but the likes of JK Rowling, Sharron Davies and many more should take their tweets down and apologize, that's someone's daughter out there whos done nothing wrong and been let down by the authorities who I suspect are more interested in justifying rapists competing just so nobody dare says they aren't all inclusive

I saw the clip, but to be honest I’ve been trawling through endless reams of women’s boxing on the discovery plus app, trying to find the men’s fights because women’s boxing holds no interest for me, but the Italian did look like she bailed as soon as she could, with the idea of becoming a bit of a cause celebre / media star, with J. K. Rowling and everybody else singing her praises, disguising the fact that she’s actually pretty useless

Regardless of the Italians intentions she's put the pressure on the powers that be to act, this wont happen again at this level so that can only be a good thing

If these Italians want to save face then they should arrange for the Algerian to fight one of their own males, someone like Paulie Malignaggi, see how she likes it getting punched by a real man

khelifa boxed for years internationally, and the ioc defended them and says the response has been disgusting. i would hardly be sure that they wouldnt be able to box in women's events in the future. if the world is becoming as woke as some claim, hell maybe they'd even promote them lol. the organzization that issued the ban are a black sheep with the olympics and arent involved. there are loads of amateur events khelifa could compete in even with an iba ban

the iba said khelife didnt fail a testosterone test but wont give details of how they were tested. the ioc say they passed tests but didnt give details. so a lot unclear.

i do think it's a harsh reaction on khelifa. there is no indication they were raised anything other than a female. its not some opportunistic dude who switched over after failing boxing guys. if she's intersex she's not clearly male either. and many intersex people dont even discover their situation well into adulthood as some features arent visible externally and only show up after specific tests. its up to the powers who be to sort this stuff more uniformly and to be more transparent, but thats tough when so many sports are splintered and corrup/incompetent

the shame is that so few people , even here, are even talking about the actual boxing

im hyped for jalolov-teremoana
