American fought the wrong fight because he was shellshocked by the power early, then his huge fighting heart took over - massive credit to America. Such a brave guy no quit in him at all. He was throwing bombs all the way until he was blitzed.
Fight was far too soon to take it turns out, he was in there against a monster

Martin is a terrifying prospect for most heavyweight out there. Looked like a combination of foreman and Liston Saturday night …crazy. Or Ike the president ( not as crazy as Ike thank god )

I think Bakole is getting a bit overhyped. He's square on a lot and pretty easy to hit. A good addition to the heavyweight scene though. He will be in some good fights.

he's not some great. hes slower and anderson had no problems landing on him. but he has a bit of that zhang like quality of being a naturally massive lump with power. really nice punch variety too. interesting player among the hws who are a step below the elite

Would Bakole still be as dangerous after 5-6 rounds though?
He is carrying a lot of weight. He put in the perfect performance- coming on strong early, but I'm not convinced he could keep it going.
Be interested to see if he can next time out.

Wow! That is impressive.
Miller had a lot better stamina against Ruiz than he did against DDD because he shed a truckload of weight between those two fights, around 30 pounds. I think before that his stamina seemed related to the drugs he was busted for. Credit to him if he is clean now.

Aye, he is square on and all that, but he throws punches at weird angles with not much shoulder movement, that you don't really see coming. Like Fury but with more power and without the footwork.

I think Zhang puts him out because his chin is there to be hit, but what an intriguing fight that would be.

I guess he gets Chisora next after the Joyce win. Wouldn't really be best for Chisora's health, but would be a fight too.

Good win I hope he can secure some big fights and get some of that Arab money. He's a fun fighter; would be great to do a "Heavyweight Explosion" type card with him on it.
