Top Rank probably paying Sandy Ryan good money to risk her title away from home in an attempt to get Mayer a title back.
May well end up backfiring as Sandy Ryan is good and very much a Welterweight so will have a lot of natural size on Mayer. Ryan really bullied Terri Harper and actually made stopping her look easy which Jonas and others haven’t managed to do.
One of the better matchups that can be made in women’s boxing I’d say so I am looking forward to it.
