I had this fight in mind.

I think, if Crawford from the Madrimov fight goes against Vargas of 1999-2000 - he'll be in for a tough fight. Twice in his career, Vargas was able to beat fighters, who, on paper, are better all-around fighters than him - Winky Wright and Ike Quartey. This won't be a cakewalk for Bud.

But I believe in Crawford and his skills. Perhaps, bold - but I'm taking Bud by late-TKO.

How do you see this fight?

Bud Crawford either taking about decision or stopping Vargas late.

Is that Crawford a puncher like Tito or ODLH?

Probably not. Also, Trinidad and De La Hoya werebigger than Crawford.

Overall, I'd like to see Crawford in another fight at 154 to get a better picture of his abilities at this weight class. I'm curious, though, was Madrimov's defense that good last Saturday or Crawford's power is indeed lacking at 154?
