Manny Pacquiao vs Terence Crawford (154)
Pacquiao from the Margarito fight (who won the WBC 154lbs belt, however weighing 150lbs) against Crawford from the Madrimov bout in a WBC/WBA 154lbs unification.
How it goes?

Terence "Bud" Crawford would crush Manny Pacquiao in five rounds.

That's kinda how I feel, as well. That was the part of Manny's career when he was suspected of being on juice. Well, on juice or not, that Margarito fight was perhaps the last one, where Pac was at his devastatingly best.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑19 Aug 2024, 15:19 no way craw bashes him like that, maybe crawford decision, but manny was still quick and juicy at this time and wouldnt get blown out
Of course, he'll win several notable fights after Margarito. But nothing will resemble that Oscar/Hatton/Cotto/Marg streak.
Plus, on that night against Margarito, Pac was younger than Crawford was in the Madrimov fight.
So, we would have a fight. I'd pick Crawford to win, though, I think.
Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Terence Crawford (154)
At this weight, Bud Crawford by decision after getting the better of the Pacman.
Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Terence Crawford (154)
Crawford by KO around the 9th or 10th round. Pac always had hell with Elite Counterpunchers (Marquez and Mayweather) and Crawford is right there in that class with those 2, and hits harder than both of them.
Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Terence Crawford (154)
Manny had the speed of hand and foot, to make it difficult.
Crawford fights at his own pace and if allowed that, then I can see he him picking up a Dec W, at this weight.
The Manny of old, would just be too fast, with a lot of movement, angles and would crack Crawford hard and often. He would be all over Crawford, blitzing him. At lighter weights, I'd take him.

I hear you. That said, even at that weight (Manny weighed 150lbs, when he fought Marg in that weight class) Pac looked blazing. In fact, I think that Margarito fight was the last fight we've seen Manny at his absolute peak.NazNaci1 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 17:47 Manny had the speed of hand and foot, to make it difficult.

But, of course, Crawford is not Margarito.
Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Terence Crawford (154)
Agreed. Crawford is one of the best fighters of recent times and at this weight, it would be hard to back against him.
However dropping down a division or two, I'd take Manny.

This could play out in various sorts of ways.
It's Actually a very unpredictable type of bout.
"The full of fire, full on force" version of Pacquiau, from the Oscar bout, the Hatton bout, and the Cotto bout has a decent chance to pull off the win, at least imo.
It could definitely wind up resulting as a Draw as well.
Pac started displaying vulnerability in that last Marquez bout. He was obviously out of his prime by then.
That version of Pac would definitely lose to Crawford.
