Interestingly It is kinda furys only good UK fight. which is incredible considering how popular fury is in the UK.

Furys best UK fights in order are probably

WHYTE
Chisora 1,2,3 (pick your fav order)
Hammer
Mcdermont?

Pathetic @UK resume really, real shame, no shade on fury, just sucks he didnt bring his UK fans much to cheer for.
Del 1 was the closest oddswise. I guess Tyson felt comfortable boxing in America and ended up having ppv bouts there.

Yea, signed with bob was probably the main thing. Bob is going to overrule frank 9 times out of 10. probably a bit shitty with BBBoC over the boar meat fiasco too. Shame he didnt do the klit rematch in wembelly. or get one of the wilder fights to UK.

AJs management put a tweet out earlier asking why Dubois hasn’t signed up for VADA testing yet

big baby milller draws with andy ruiz, in a fight where miller deserved the victory

nothing major but makes the dominant stoppage over miller look a bit better on dub's resume

It really hasn't. I've found this really strange recently. I follow the tickets everyday and there was hundreds this morning. They did the same with the L.A show. As for saying there are platinum tickets available.... that is just in house touting.

The amount of floor seats that were left was the main worry for them. Not cheap tickets.

True but Miller was 30lbs lighter vs Ruiz so presumably a better fighter than who fought DDD. So comparisons are harder to make.

good point. And credit to him for being able to do those rounds at 300lb ish! It's a weird fitness sometimes isn't it, being able to do all that at the weight.

How do you see the AJ - DDD fight going?

deadpan wrote: 03 Jun 2024, 14:27 I think the notion that AJ is back in beast mode is a tad fanciful based on Wallin offering nothing and Ngannou being clearly clueless after the first minute. I expect him to look more like the gunshy version of Franklin and Helenius, given DDD's dig. If Dubois isn't overawed he can win this.
He sure was, and so was Dubois in the first minute of his last fight. Hrgovic was landing at will. That combined with AJ's power could go the same way as poor Ngannou.
Dubois may have the chin to handle a few Joshua right hands, but not a sustained attack.

DDD is made to measure for AJ IMO and I can see Dubois getting badly damaged on his way to an early stoppage loss.

With the saying, 'You're only as good as your last fight' in mind, the media are going to paint AJ as King Kong after this one. He beat the guy who beat Miller and Hrgovic and got him out of there faster than Usyk.

Regardless, I'm really looking forward to this one.

This isn’t as one way as painted guys.
AJ is the favourite yes. But his chin gets tickled then we will see. Can AJ get thru it?

Looking forward to this one.

Might have a cheeky punt on Daniel 4-6.

Dubois has stepped up twice and been stopped twice. Obviously no guarantees in boxing - especially with heavyweight power in the mix - but the smart money has to be on AJ.
