OK.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑26 Aug 2024, 08:11100% agree. He's cringe and grating but you lap it up when Fury talks b*llocks.mickey1975 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024, 17:46 Joe did always come across as a bit of a moaner. He never shut up about the Rolex he'd apparently been promises for winning the title and never got. Then it was the stadium stuff. At the weigh in in Saudi he was the only one not stopping for photo's with fans afterwards. I know he was tight at the weight but this was twelve hours later at the ceremonial weigh in. Now he swears blind he was cruising that fight until he was hit on the break. He wasn't.

Re: Shakur Stevenson vs. Joe Cordina | PPV - 12 October 2024
funny how he's lost his magic just like his gym pals. fighters do improve of course, but dont think the signs are there for cordina and dont expect him to come roaring back. with shak's style he may at least see the distance this time though
Re: Shakur Stevenson vs. Joe Cordina | PPV - 12 October 2024
Agree with the comments about Cordina being a whinger, seemed to expect unification fights on the basis of winning one world title fight and was most peeved by the IBF having the temerity to strip him when he was injured long-term.
I nearly put injured in quotation marks.
Like his gym mates Benn and Cash, he had a short period of fights where he looked like a destructive puncher, but (also like those two) that seems to have been an anomaly. Weird that.

Yes indeed it's very strange that certain boxers look like eggscellent punchers with one punch knockout power in some fights but in subsequent fights look like they couldn't break an egg. I wonder what the eggsxcuse could be for that?magnus wrote: ↑29 Aug 2024, 13:03 Agree with the comments about Cordina being a whinger, seemed to expect unification fights on the basis of winning one world title fight and was most peeved by the IBF having the temerity to strip him when he was injured long-term.

anyone been reading about how much Sims was taking off him, and how much MR were? Criminal.
Not surprising from the Sims as they're both criminals (reads Operation Tiberuis report) but did not expect it from MR.

But Joe had already said he's managed by Spencer Brown and trained by Davison nearly a fortnight before that video came out.
