Interesting matchup between 2 vulnerable punchers. Sure to be a slugfest. We're not talking about all time greats here, but we are talking about 2 good fighters who are sure to make for an explosive matchup.

I feel Miranda took a shot a little better, but Echols probably makes up for that with faster hands, and more dynamic skill altogether.

I'd favor Echols to win by KO in the 5th in a fight that sees both men on the canvas.

He fought good competition and they all knocked him out too.
I’ll go Echols by KO from Rd 6 onwards

His first fight with abe he fought well. Ward didnt knock him out. Allan green is the best win on either resume

Miranda also managed to stop Howard Eastman. Eastman was, perhaps, aging at that time. But he was tricky and usually durable. And a year before fighting Miranda, Eastman didn't embarrass himself against Hopkins and Abraham (where he lost by UD, but fought quite well).

On his part, Echols was considered a promising fighter pre-Hopkins. After their 1st fight, B-Hop even complemented him. However, after losing a rematch to Hopkins, Echols started taking L's from literally everyone. Although, he ran Anthony Mundine close in a title fight (that was already post-Hopkins).

It would be a back and forth fight, but Echols would prevail by knocking Miranda out in 6 rounds.
